my clumsy kid

[Celeste]

is asking for a penny skateboard. this is a child who stubs his toe or hits his knee every.single.time he walks up or down the stairs. my response was basically you'll shoot your eye out kid. lol. but he's scrimped together the money. i'm sure like everything else he's ever "needed," he'll play with it for a day and then it will gather dust wherever he leaves it! i'm advocating for pads and helmet while riding. i really do not enjoy the emergency room!

I hear you! I remember when mine 'needed'' a RipStick, think he used it for one year. Then there were the roller blades and of course he had to have the Bauer ones, again one year and in closet collecting dust. Skateboard, he's gone through 3 of those and the last item he had to have was a Longboard. I bought skateboard 1, the other 2 came from dad and longboard was on his dime. The longboard is usually his transportation to school in nice weather
