I finally finished it up last weekend so I could take advantage of a coupon that was about to expire. I'm so excited that it's done and here! I just hope it motivates me to get caught back up again!

I didn't end up adjusting things quite right and things are closer to the edge than I would like, but nothing is actually cut off so I'm trying to let it go. I have two "insert" pages that I need to trim down still. Just a little nervous about taking scissors to my book. I hope to work up the courage soon!

oh I so could not cut my book either!! lol...but I am so proud of you for getting it done!! I did one last week-coupons motivate

Thanks so much everyone! It feels good to have it done and printed!

Suzy - I print my books through Shutterfly.

This is FABULOUS! Love the pages and how fun to have them in your hot little hands! So awesome... off to start catching up, LOL.

It looks awesome! Add me to the list of those who finished a book last week because of a coupon expiring! LOL! My book shipped today. I can't wait to see mine too! I love the bright orange box arrival!

I really love you photo centric cover! Might have to steal that idea for my next book!

Thanks so much! Yes... it feels so great to actually touch the pages! I flip through my books all of the time on Shutterfly, but it's just not the same as feeling the actual pages!

Karen - thanks for the comments on my cover. I never pre-plan my covers (I really wish I would though), they're always the last thing I do before I send off my book to print, usually with the added pressure of coming up with something hours before a coupon expires. I tried to just use a shutterfly cover page, but I just didn't find one I loved, so I threw that together. I really like it... but the first thing my daughter did when it came in was count how many photos she was in versus her brother. Unfortunately I wasn't diligent about keeping count and he's on the cover one more time than her. :-/

Waw, this book will be something you'll be looking at back an back again!!
Love how you created it, with an overview and storytelling... Congrats, I admire you!

:giggle Oh, this is totally my girl, hehe. The boys really don't care... the girl. Yikes. She had better not be underrepresented, LOL.

Made me smile.

This is SO me too! I always have to scramble to come up with the cover while the clock is ticking down to my coupon expiring! Maybe I should do the cover for my next book now and avoid that for once! Nah... who am I kidding! LOL!

What a great book Tracie - it really looks amazing and must be such a great feeling to get 1/2 the year done and printed! I need to move it, move it, move it- you've inspired me to get going!
