:yesss Yes, so I am tooting a bit (a horn, nothing else!!)

We got to babysit my niece, Hannah, who's 4. She lives an hour away so we don't see TOO often. We also had our last home football game this weekend so we decided to take her along. The game was sold out (Arkansas Razorbacks vs. Tennessee Volunteers) so my husband wandered around the stadium looking for a ticket for sale. He got a call from a friend and he had one for us for free.

This is where it gets interesting. Staff on campus get some great deals on tickets but this friend of ours had bought 10 years ago and paid an extra hundred bucks for 2nd row seats, literally, 2nd row. Those seats are now a 10,000 dollar donation to get them. We sat there for free. Best thing EVER!!

My niece got to meet Big Red, our mascot, and Smokey the Bear (the Ten. mascot). We could see the "shine" on the players faces and even got a photo of the play board.

Pretend my hair doesn't look like a bee's nest... it was windy enough to knock you down.

I'll be putting the rest of the photos up here... http://tankersley.smugmug.com/Sports/football/Razorbacks/20076933_Z23Tfb I DO have some great Razorback shots, we just happened to be behind the opposing team. No arguments from me though. It was simply amazing to just be that close. Our seats are in "Pig Heaven" which is the bucket seats in the very upper deck. We love them it up there but I'd trade anytime. :flirty

That is so awesome :D We were supposed to go to the Southern Miss game Saturday night but my Step DD was sick...and since the tickets were free for Military appreciation not going was a bummer but at least we didn't lose a bunch of money.

Back before we had kids....I bought DH front row end zone tickets to a Monday Night Football Game as a welcome home present when he got back from Iraq...Atlanta (his favorite!) vs The Saints...it was AMAZING!!

I am soooo jealous!!!! Been wanting to get to a game here in Little Rock and haven't made it yet! Next week's game is in LR but got other plans but I'm glad to see you were able to go to the game! It was a great game! Wooooo Pig Soieeeee!

That looks like so much fun!

I spent Sat. afternoon watching ESPN3 on DH's computer to see Arkansas State remain #1 in their conference...that was my big weekend football highlight (well that and watching The Bears beat The Lions...that was pretty great too). Granted they aren't the Razorbacks but they're my team from the school I graduated from in the town I grew up in so it's always good to see them winning! It was a good game..I would have loved to have been in the stands on Saturday.

That's awesome!!!
My niece was on ESPN during the hog game. We've not found anyone who happened to have it dvr'd tho!

That looks amazing! :) I bet your niece loved all the action!

How fun - your pictures are great! My brother just got a job at the university there and moved to Fayetteville about a week ago. He's really excited, and I'm hoping I can visit sometime soon.

Really?! That's wild... do you know where he works or what he does? My husband or I might cross paths with him... that's really cool!

What an awesome opportunity! I bet she had the best time with you all! Great pictures, too- lots to scrap with :D
