I love M4H actions. I have few and I'm looking to add to my collection. Sooooo, I was wondering what are your favorite of her actions? Which collections should I add to my repertoire?

Sarah is an total sweetheart and the great thing about her actions is that you can customize them to be exactly what you need. Some of the actions on the market are very heavy and leave your photos with a very "processed" feel and I love that Sarah's don't do that!

Do you like any particular looks? Do you light bright and colorful? Muted and vintage? I'm sure we can help you find something you love :)
 
Difficult to choose! At the moment I'm really enjoying Glory, but I really like Hippy Dippy Trippy (although I often 'turn them down' quite a bit, I like the effect better that way).

Jude, hard to choose between those two, but I'm diggin' Hippy Dippy Trippy.

Kelly, I tend to use a lot of b&w and I also love, love, love the vintage and soft faded look. I'm loving the new set you blogged about!

Well, I'm in love with pretty much everything Sarah does. She's made of awesome. We have such similar sensibilities for processing and I never used to be an action user, but she has saved me so much time and I adore her actions! I finally settled on quite a few sets. :D I ended up getting The Ultimate Photographers Toolbox, Fable, Hippy Dippy Trippy, Matchstick and Color Wonder. And I have a few more on my wishlist. heehee
 
I love Sarah's actions!! I have so many and now I want Fable. I can't believe I missed the sale. I will be picking up Fable on the next one. Thanks for the link to the blog post, Kelly! It was great. Don't know how I missed it. I love that her actions are at a great price, too.
 
I'm trying to get rid of a lot of actions that I never use, but I'm not having much luck in cleaning up my effects palette. I've deleted the files from the photo effects folder, but the thumbs still show up in the effects palette. Do I have to delete each one individually from the palette? Please say no...
 
I love Fable, but I find myself using Just Love from Hippy Dippy Trippy and Little Rainbow from... shoot. What set is that from? I'll have to take a look when I'm back at my computer. :)

I use her actions all the time! I use Cola Chick and Bohemian Babe a lot
 
I looove Hippy Dippy Trippy and the Fable set. I use Just Love from Hippy Dippy Trippy and Blush from Fable ALL THE TIME! I adore them!!
 
i have the whimsical collection. i love it but i don't use it often because my program has a really annoying quirk... once i apply a layer style to anything, the nudge feature no longer works, and i end up having to close down and restart. it's dumb. really dumb. so it discourages me from using styles (which is where the actions are saved in Elements... not sure how it works in regular PS)
 
I need Glory. I forgot to get that one last time. I've used Faded Beauty a lot too for b&w and sepia.

I was using lightroom for almost everything, but I've recently started using her actions. I don't even open up LR right now.
I just adore Sarah and she is so amazing!!! It sounds like you got some great actions to start with!! I promise you, you'll be back for more!!!
 
Could you tell me how you use her actions??? Is it like mask?
I just use my program: PhotoImpact to do all my scrapping and I can play around with the color and transparency and all that stuff. But I would love to try using some her actions.

I am not sure about PhotoImpact. I have never heard of that. They are made to use in Photoshop and photoshop elements. Mine just sit in my Actions palette and I just run them over my photos from there by hitting the "play" button. You could probably email Sarah and see if she knows if they would work in your program.
