Though I don’t remember exactly who it was, I’d like to thank the person/people who mentioned Day One in a couple of threads here on TLP in late 2015. I was just becoming active in the forum so I didn’t know who’s who yet. I decided to try Day One — I mentioned TLP in my very first entry in December 24, 2015 — and it has become my most important, favorite app.

I write in my Day One journal daily, I’m one of the moderators in the Day One Facebook Community, and I listen to their podcast every other week. And last week, on the podcast, they interviewed me and the other FB moderator. We talk about how and why we Journal and how we use the Day One app.

If you’d like to listen, you can find “Day One podcast” in your favorite podcast app or go to http://dayone.libsyn.com/38-brett-and-johnny-talk-to-our-community-page-moderators-michele-and-mike

❤️ Thanks! ❤️

@michelepixels I picked up on your Facebook post & listened to the podcast this a.m. Sounds like a great app. I'm android, and I've only got a dumb phone, so no ability to use it. I've been journaling digitally every day since January 2013. I create a 2 page spread in Photoshop with "boxes" for each date, looks like a calendar when viewed side by side. Most of the time it is an artsy background with an art journal doll featured each month. I really enjoy going back to look at the "boring". I even mark it when Mosquito Joe shows up or our snow plow guy does our driveway in the winter. Loved your interview!

Just bought the book by Piccadilly, "3000 Questions About Me". Trying to answer 10 questions a day. You might want to to check it out the next time you are at a bookstore. It was one of those discounted books at Barnes and Noble. You might enjoy it. :-)

You're famous! Congratulations! I will have to listen sometime soon before I forget. Every time the app is mentioned I look into it but haven't ever downloaded it yet. Maybe today's the day!

I saw your FB post this morning and listened while I was getting ready for work! You were awesome!! So very cool!!

@michelepixels What is the difference between regular and Premium?

I had to look it up. I've been Premium since they started the subscription method. https://dayoneapp.com/pricing/
It looks like basically the free version limits it to just one journal, one device, and one photo per entry.

I highly value the subscription model because it makes it possible for them to constantly improve the app (which they do every other month or so) and it means they can live up to the promise of being a lifelong app.

@mcurtt Thanks for the recommendation Marilyn!

@gonewiththewind Many have wished for an android app so maybe someday! I'm not sure I'll always be using Apple devices, so I'm hoping too.

Thanks for checking it out everyone!

congrats! I'm another Android fan here, but I am so intrigued by the app. It sounds wonderful. Anyway, congrats on your fame! :) How cool is that?!
