I love my gardens when they are mulched.

But every year when I order that giant pile of mulch, I wonder what I was thinking. :dizzy

5 yards were dumped in my driveway yesterday. I got about 1/3 of it spread before I petered out.

The problem is, we live on top of a hill, and my biggest garden is in the back at the bottom. So up and down the hill with the wheelbarrow. Good times!

And I'm trying to not kill myself a few days before the Cleveland Marathon if possible. Oy

Girl.....do you every rest?!?!?! :)

I do not envy you on working in the garden and spreading all the mulch. Makes me tired just typing this. LOL

yes, maybe killing yourself before a marathon is a not-so-good idea. be careful.
and yes, mulching is a PITA but it's SO nice when it's done!
we just built garden beds this weekend, so I will soon be hauling lots of soil. and then planting. and then mulching. *sigh*

I hate mulching my gardens. I am really procrastinating this year - thinking of hiring someone else to do it!

We haven't done ours for at least two years because I hate going to get all the mulch or paying to having it delivered and it itchy back breaking work.... but, we just didn't 2/3 of our yard this weekend too. My hubby is going to get another load tonight. yippee. At least it'll look all neat and tidy and I'll be done, so I won't have to do it this weekend!

I got my gardens all done but there's still a big pile there. I usually just give it to my neighbors, but they aren't the fastest about getting it moved, so I'm considering doing another layer just to get it out of my driveway. Or maybe I should move it to their driveway, that's closer than my gardens. :rofl

Well, load it up and bring it over! I only need about a yard to finish mine! :) You know... in your free time.

The hubster decided not to go get more tonight so I'm happily going to spend my new free time scrapping instead.
