Did everyone see that MSA is closing on January 10th, 2015? I'm really bummed. I know this happened before and Jen swooped in to save MSA and keep it open for a few more years, but that is my most complete gallery and I'm going to be really sad if I lose that whole gallery. It goes back to 2008 and I have 1287 layouts posted in there complete with credits to all those layouts.

Does anyone remember when 2Peas closed and there was a way to import your gallery into another one, I think Scrapbook.com? I'm hoping that will be an option for this too!

I'm no help, no suggestions....but it's always sad when we lose a little piece of digi-land.

i've been posting there for many years, I always get them monthly members kits, I will miss MSA, so sad..

I wish with all my being I could buy MSA. in my heart of hearts I would love it so.............. I know absolutely nothing about running a site...as in nada! But I remember long ago, DST felt like the Pad does now, but with everyone. There was a family feeling, and if I could anyway try, that would be the place...but
alas....
I so hope you can move it Karen. My first digi home closed so long ago..snap and scrap, and it is so hard to find a niche..ya know?

Unfortunately, I highly doubt there will be an export option. I checked the features of the software and a developer flat out said there is no option like that in the software, and I doubt someone closing their store is going to spend the time and money on creating that. It wouldn't be easy. 2Peas had a totally different gallery system.

If you select all the credits when you pin to Pinterest to stack to ScrapStacks, it will automatically copy the credits to the pin/stack. ScrapStacks will even keep links linked when you do that. You'd still have to go to each LO one by one and hit the "stack it" button 1287 times, which sucks, but it might be the fastest option.

I am totally bummed for the same reason, and I don't think my hands could handle all the stacking. sigh!

I hadn't known! Sad to see special places close.

Maybe look into Flirk for storage? Hoping there will be a way to upload/move your gallery there. Good Luck.

i must have been really out of this week ... i read the post about the last Template Challenge but didn't know the reason was THE END. ugh. never was into the forum over there but i really liked that gallery for posting and for inspiration. :(

There's a small note in the forum but even if you visit the forum, it's pretty easy to miss. They haven't blogged it, as far as I know. The note in the template forum is the closest to an announcement there I've seen.

Karen- It was Scrapbook.com that enabled you to import your complete gallery from 2Peas. Not sure if they do it with any other site...

I was also bummed reading it. It's so sad, it was such a fun mixing place!

While I'm sad to see another digi gallery gone... I never got views on my layouts there, so I stopped uploading there awhile ago... it didn't help my designers to have no or very little views... same with my attitude about having a complete gallery... most of my old layouts are not my style and products retired... just something to think about for those who are sad about losing their most complete gallery

That's partly why I liked having a complete gallery... it was awesome to go back and look at how awful I was when I started. :giggle

That's so sad-- I liked them and hadn't heard. (Funny reflection though, Karen! :) I often look back at how awful I was, too!)

Hi everyone....

There was a blog post last Friday with our "Farewell" kit, an announcement in the forum (sorry... it's the best I could do there), in the gallery, pinned to the front page of the blog, and on FB (Dec 1st). I'm sorry that so many still did not know. I've done my best to get the word out. While MSA has been my heart for many years, it's simply time to close. I hope you will join us in celebrating our farewell with the Hello... Goodbye kit that many designers helped put together (some TLP designers too :) ) and flood MSA and MSA's FB page with your LO's and memories! xo
