I don't think I can see the forum. (I could be blind, though!)

When does your access to the forum supposed to shut off? If I had a two month subscription for January and February, am I supposed to be able to see the forum for the entirety of those two months? Or did I buy my subscription at some kind of in between time that's causing me to not be able to see the forum now?

I was going to wait to buy for March and April towards the end of the month, but is that something I should do now if I want to see the forum?

Thanks for your help :D

You actually purchased your subscription in December and you're up for renewal now if you wish to receive the March kit and see the forum. :)

I don't have access either. I purchased the two month subscription for January and February. I know my account was charged for February, but I still don't have access.

I am showing that you already have access. It's instant when you renew and your forum profile shows me that it should be accessible to you. Are you not able to see it?

Hello there, I used to be a subscriber, but I ended my subscription already. I would like to ask , how can hybrid user use the cut files in the MPM kits. I do own a silhouette machine but dont own a silhouette designer edition software. so i cant use the SVG files. I would love to do the print and cut. Please advice!

I have no experience with that but someone should come along soon who will be able to help you out.

If DXF files are included, Silhouette's basic software can use them, although I actually prefer using PNGs. I haven't been a subscriber so I'm not sure what's included, but I've never seen cut files that didn't include PNGs. I did a quick search and found this tutorial for using PNGs. This is exactly what I do except I never move or delete the original file. I don't think that matters at all.

Can you open the PDF's that are included and then do a cut and print?

I use them all the time in mine. I have just the basic edition on the silhouette software and it reads pngs. You can just pull the png file into the silhouette software and cut from that. HTH. The files come with svg and png. I've never really found a need for the svg.

I used the "laugh out loud" file here from the MPM:Charmed edition

This one is from he Mixed Media Monthly but I love using these cut cards. I used a leaf and a flower one from below. The silhouette does a good job of cutting them out and they add so much to the project.

You'd have to convert a PDF to a PNG anyway, unless you mean using the PixScan mat to print and then cut what you printed, and that is only useful if you want black shapes. With PNGs, you'd be able to edit the fill of the shape, or cut on the paper of your choice without printing anything.

I manage to do it manually from the png files by tracing the cut lines :) thanks for all the advice :)
