It usually costs less for 3 matinee movie tickets for us than it does for a popcorn, a pop, & some candy!

The treats are getting super expensive!

Too many are dark, violent or juvenile

I hadn't thought of this. But it's true.

So, don't buy treats, but buy arcade coins.

LOL! Arcade coins. So, is this where I tell you our movie theaters are mostly in the casinos....

I have smuggled in candy for the grandkids on occasion.

I bet they think you are the best grandma!

If we've just eaten before the movie, we get a pack of Twizzlers to share

Oh! That's my favorite scrapping snack.

if I know it's going to be intense I keep a water with me so I don't chew my fingers off from the suspense

How does that work? Too much water and I have to pee!

Wow! That's a great price.

but the popcorn, man, I gotta have movie theater popcorn.

Gotta admit, not a huge fan here! But I knew someone loves it!

If we go to the movies, it's usually a candy treat for each of us from the grocery store smuggled in. My treat is always milk chocolate Raisinets, DH varies his treat.

Now, in February, when we go to the special Best Picture nominees movie marathon weekends, we splurge at the theater because we get a 20% discount on concessions and points on our Movie Rewards card. We look at the movie times and plan when to have popcorn to share, when to have supper from the theater grill, and when to have a sweet treat dessert. Those days we're in the theater for 10-12 hours.

How does that work? Too much water and I have to pee!

I always have to pee during movies. Another reason to watch them at home so we can pause (even though it drives everyone crazy to pause for me haha).

We go to the movies a couple of times a year but don't eat or drink there. Movie popcorn makes me so nauseous that I have to change seats if anyone is eating it near me.

We rarely go to the movies so when we do we usually get popcorn and a soda.

At home we have ice cream!

We always bring some sort of candy with us. We go on Tuesdays often because they have a $5 for a popcorn and drink combo that day. I love popcorn at the movies so always have to get that. Hubby always scowls at me tho. We do drink coke and every once in a while if you have their come rewards they give you free popcorn for a point redemption which we do too. Would we pay full price? Probably not.

Just a tub of popcorn with butter only on the bottom half. I eat the top half and then dh eats the bottom. But it has become an once a year event, if that, for me to go to a movie.
