When it was looking like it was going to be 80 and sunny for the Flying Pig marathon, we decided that if it was, we'd run Cleveland, as well.

Last year in Cleveland it was 50 and raining.

So, I signed up for Cleveland, which is this weekend.

GUESS WHAT?

80 and Sunny. :dizzy

50 for Tough Mudder, 80 for 2 marathons... who did I tick off? :giggle

I have absolutely no goal for Cleveland. The last 4 miles of the Pig seemed like they took as long as the first 22. I don't do well in the sun/heat.

If I finish upright, I'll consider that a win. 2 marathons in 14 days seems good enough, who cares about times and all that? LOL

Should be a fun summer ahead for me. What's the weather going to be for my 2 day / 175 mile bike ride? A hurricane?

I have a hard time even being outdoors at 80, let alone run!! You have my eternal admiration! I do hope the weather takes a turn before then..

I live in a place where it's 80 (or higher) in February and doesn't stop until November ish. So I can't imagine it not being hot all the time where other people live. I stop my outside walks in the really hot months because I just MELT!

Two marathons in a year is good, two marathons in two weeks is {phenomenal!!} Maybe you'll have a few clouds during the day to cool it off a little.

YOU are an amazing athlete!

Yep, I'm with Cristina and Nikki too. I don't mind 80 degrees if we are at the pool or just lounging on the porch in the shade, but expect me to move? No way. I do air conditioning. its funny since we do like camping, but when its hot, I take lots of showers and lounge in the tent (we usually set up in the shade if at all possible!)

Wow. The idea of running in that heat is not a fun one. NOT TO MENTION two marathons in 14 days? Girl, you have definitely taken a ride on the crazy train!

You are just so inspiring. :)

Yikes, sorry about the heat!

But really, 2 marathons in 2 weeks? You are an amazon!

Obviously God hates your tiny @$$ and wants you to flop down on the couch with the rest of us Hefty Hippos and eat chips and watch reality TV like a friggin' American!

:giggle:giggle:giggle

I kid, I kid.

You will be fine. Hot, but fine. You got this, babe. :beat

I run best at 60 degrees and cloudy, so I feel your pain! Isn't the Flying Pig in Cincinnati? 80 is too hot, LOL. It'll be even warmer down there on the pavement. I ran the Honolulu Marathon in Hawaii. That one's in December. But it starts at 5am, because it gets so hot. I trained in San Diego in 60 degree low humidity temps. I died in Hawaii with the high temps and humidity.

I do not have a tiny @ss by anyone's standards. Flat, yes. Tiny, no.

And yes the Pig is in Cincy.

I wonder if they will let you finish the race. I remember the Chicago marathon being black flagged a year or two ago because it got too hot.

Stay safe you crazy woman!

Yikes... That does seem like it's almost unsafe! I sure hope for your sake it rains or something to keep you alive. I don't even know for sure if I could ride my bike for 26.2 miles in 80. I know for sure that I'd DIE if I tried to run that far. You are the running goddess! :)

Just don't poop your pants :giggle (kidding! I saw your facebook this morning)

You're crazy - two marathons in 14 days! Good luck!! I know you'll rock it.
