More prayers needed...

I'm so sorry to hear this, Cynthia. You'll have as many good thoughts as you can possibly have coming your way. I know what you mean about when it's your child. I used to cry at my daughter's Dr. appointments if she got a shot, because I knew how much she hated them.

thanks girls.... I slept yesterday (well, this morning, I think it was almost 6 am) after three days awake-

I got a call yesterday from our GPO/family doctor (who is amazing) she told me they think the opening is now nothing to do with the operation, but another cyst, deeper behind the one they took away- They think it will dissolve with the antibiotics- I honestly hope so, otherwise it will mean another surgery-
She was unable to eat until last night, and even so, it was a chicken soup and I shredded the chicken breast very small so she could have it- A friend of hers, Shasain, came yesterday to help in the house as we dont have my carer at the moment and I was unable to stand up...
I talked to my parents on Skype all along which made all more bearable :)
Thank you so much , I know I can count on you guys, that is a good part of the journey walked with a better heart

I don't know the background to your story but really do hope for all the best for you and your daughter.

wow Cynthia.. so keeping fingers crossed that the antibiotics do the trick.. hugs and prayers being said for Sarita for a quick recovery too from tonsillitis so she will start to feel better soon. Hugs

Hoping that a good night's rest and another day of antibiotics will get the pain under control for her. Both of you have sure been through a lot over the last month or two, none of it easy. Happy that a friend could come over and help out a little, nice of them to do that. Good friends help us make it thorough!

indeed...good friends are a huge treasure in my life, and so many of you, even if we dont talk much, just by being here, make it a lot more bearable everything that goes on- :)

She is much better- so much we already had a huge argument about her not tidying up her bedroom LOL-
She can talk, still has a cough but still another 5 days to go on antibiotics, the doctor said the drainage is ok and looks like the antibiotics are doing their job in that one too-
We had invited to have lunch out a friend of mine & his wife, this guy was Andy's friend (Sarita's dad, my husband) but carried on a friendship with us and has been one of my main support network here in London- His wife works a lot so we dont see each other too often all together- we had cancelled this lunch many times, but Sarita felt good yesterday so we did go to a wonderful Italian restaurant and had such a great laugh....
I couldn't drive but I have a cheap taxi thought my disability card..... so that was great.... I cam,e back and slept most of the afternoon
we just spoke to my parents as most of the family is having lunch together at one of my cousins for the holiday....overall a good weekend :)
Thanks so much guys, I treasure you :heartlub:heartlub:beat:heartlub:heartlub
