It's Monday. And it's October. :dizzy Seriously. Did September fly for anyone else?

I don't have a crazy week, thankfully. Plus, BYOC lands on Friday...woohoo.
Let's see...meeting this morning, tennis match for E tomorrow, volunteering at concessions at the football game on Thursday and flea marketing with my girlfriends on Friday. Of course, there's always work and the usual mountain of laundry!

I hope everyone has a great week!
 
I.Can't.Believe.It's.October!!! YIKES! This year is zooming by! Not too much going on over here, our in-laws are coming to stay with us a few nights toward the end of the week so prepping for that and just the same 'ol Mom/Wifey stuff.

IEP meeting this afternoon (not looking forward to that in the least). Otherwise just the same ole same ole this week I think.
 
this YEAR has flown by for me ... seriously.flown.by ...

my in-laws and SIL are coming to our house this weekend - so in addition to the normal school/ballet/gymnastics/swim team runs, i'll be trying to decorate the house for halloween and get the guest bedrooms all prettied up ... and scrap a little with the BYOC :)
 
LOL it probably goes without saying that I think that September went waaay to fast for me...I had a great time guesting here.
For this week I'm not sure of all of our plans yet. Tonight is a board meeting for our homeschool group, and Wednesday is the homeschool gathering day. DH has to go out of town for work this week, and I'm trying to decided if DD and I will join him or not.
 
Cleaning house and making time for scrapping with those awesome BYOC goodies. Will be getting ready toward the end of the week for a visit from my parents this weekend but other than that I have nothing on my plate but scrapping, hopefully, if the little munchkin will cooperate.

finally getting back into our regular schedule... tho, I skipped running this morning :giggle
 
I need to get some laundry done, but I already have a page open in PS, so I can't just leave it, right???? :giggle

I really just need to clean house this week. The weekend was rough and I didn't want to do anything!

Oh and almost forgot...my 6 week post surgery check up tomorrow...hoping to get the all clear for activity again (not like I slowed down much though)

Still in shock that its October... But happy to make it to another "first of the month" lol. Money, ick.
Today my 1 yr old has a dr appt to discuss some possible food allergy problems, and behavioral issues I'm hoping are related to the food stuff. Hoping it goes well.
My mom flies in for a visit on wedn!! I'm over the moon excited!!!! We have lots planned for her 1 week visit!
 
September literally FLEW by. Crazy.

Today is exciting and busy for me-- I'm launching a scrapbooking website today with a friend, and we're having a blog party too! Super exciting. But also super busy. (There's going to be sketches and free digi downloads there-- be sure to check it out here)

This past weekend, I also went back to my college for Homecoming, so there's some major exhaustion going on from a whole weekend of football, partying, and sleeping on an old friend's futon. Ouch.
 
I am in denial about September and hate my first week in October Calendar. That's all. :) Just reminding myself one day at a time. ;)
 
I can't believe it is October already! We have a mega huge halloween party that I need to get planning. We normally have about 20 families over in costumes with halloween themed food and kid activities. Back to a normal work week and regular routines with the kids.
 
We have football, more football, even more football, plus Beaver and Cub Scouts this week. Plus we have 4 routes we have to cover for selling Scout popcorn (not my fav activity). Plus it is Read-In Week for the Grade 2s, so I'm heading off afterwards to read to my son's class. Plus tomorrow is storybook-character dressup day, so I'll be hunting around in the dressup trunk to find the right bits and pieces to satisfy each child.

Too many plus'es!
 
Finally getting back to feeling more normal since surgery on 9/19. Off work and finally able to enjoy that a bit. My DD is home sick today, but feeling she turned the corner. I got driving permission on Friday, so all the carpool and kid drop offs/pick ups are back on me. That's ok... the leaves are gorgeous and it's nice to get out of the house. I may go have lunch with friends on Friday to celebrate one of the friends' birthdays.
 
Grocery run, catching up and getting ahead at work, laundry, dishes, gorging on every episode of 'Parenthood' via Netflix, scrapping... that's abt it. Excited to start blogging this week for a designer here. :beat

Hubs has a midterm tomorrow night, so he's been furiously studying for that since Friday.

Attempting to avoid being sick. Hubs is already, and Miss Monkey looks like she's headed that way.
 
I think this year has flown by, too. The kids and I have a typical week this week. The hubby is running the Chicago marathon this upcoming weekend.
 
October...what?? It's all going waaaaay too fast, in 2,5 months our baby girl will be 2, I said 2!!! This can't be true!!! hehe

Had a busy at work today, cause we had today as the final day to finish up some project for our end-of-the-year bonus and it was pretty hectic aside from the kids not listening and like evever monday we have this baby girl, who just stops crying when on your lap...so after 2 hrs at work, my head almost exploded!!! *sigh* on top of the bigger kids who all decided not to listen today! Geeeesh!

Anyways...work tomorrow, off on Wednesday & going to this indoor playparc with two of my besties and their kids, on Thursday we'll just go and see my SIL and pick out a Moroccan dress to wear for a party next week, work on Friday and my hubby's B-Day, so we'll prob. go out to diner! going shopping with my BFF on Sat....Sooo can't wait!!
