What's on the agenda this week?

I have the worst cold I've had in close to a decade so my brain is a little foggy...can't even tell you what's up this week because there is THAT much to do :thumbsdowns

I came across this over the weekend though and thought I would share it here...it's truly beautiful and worth watching.

With that...I hope you all have a wonderful week! :heartlub

Well, I'm going to be moving product and ... let's see ... moving product.

Also being a wife, a mom .. :whoopdedoo

Nothing enormous planned, though. I'm hoping to go fabric shopping at some point for a slipcover for the chair in my office. That will be a nice little adventure!

Hope you feel better soon, sweets! :heartslub

:lmao Angie!

We have a soccer game tonight and choir practice and a super sad visitation to go to on Wednesday. A friend from choir lost her 23 year old son on Thursday night. He died in his sleep! It's beyond tragic and I'm so sad for her.

Other than that, I will be spending every free second on the "basement project" that I've been working on for the last two weeks. First it was ripping out nasty old carpet, then repainting the paneling down there to brighten things up. Now I'm stripping paint off the coolest old dresser and I'm turning it into a TV stand. I'm so excited to see how this all pulls together. I'll be posting a gazillion pictures when/if I ever finish all my work.

Hope you feel better soon Kelly.

nothing special...focusing on laundry today from our weekend camping trip so everything doesn't smell like smoke. Cooking, cleaning, school....all the usual for the rest of the week.

It's my last week as a guest polly so I'm planning on scrapping a bit more as well. I've had so much fun this month being a part of such a great group that is the polly awesomeness. I'm totally thankful I got this experience this month..I've scrapped so much, been inspired so much, and have loved every minute of it!

Ahhh a quiet week planned. Did a bit of shopping today and found everything I needed-love it when that happens! Now i need to do these challenges!

Oh just carting the kids all over Nashville and trying to keep busy while I try not to think of my serious PS withdrawals going on lol.. can we say addict? Oh my... I didn't realize it had gotten so bad :p LOL... actually I'm really enjoying the vacation and looking forward to visiting with some friends and playing in my art journal... Oh and talking to a friend who is the founder of an arts camp about doing an art journaling workshop, eek... excited and nervous at the same time...

i get to work all week. :groan
and cart the kids to and fro.

is it friday yet?

Trying to make it out of Monday, that's all. My goal for the week is to take it Day by Day! Had a horrible Saturday night and Sunday with our youngest (he's 26 y/o) so if I can just get through each day....I think I'll make it.

I am buried under a bunch of PTO work this week. I do the telephone directory for our PTO, which encompasses about 500 families. It is like a huge phone book with class lists and teacher lists and all sorts of stuff. It is such a huge undertaking. And my deadline is this upcoming weekend.

I've got lots of errands this week...I've been slacking!

I'm still trying to sell things on Craigslist (anything I can find at my house that will sell) and then I'm going to post things on eBay. I'm a bit addicted to people coming to my house right now and giving me money! :)

Let's see...do more layouts. I've been corked up on that for some reason. Last week my daughter started a migraine headache, so the past week was having her stay at home for a couple of days. She still has the migraine, but she's going to school this week. Both my kids get Wednesday off because. Yup, budget problems with LAUSD. No days off after that until Thanksgiving, thank heavens. I'm trying to get info from a physical therapy place my doctor prescribed for my hip/sciatica pain. And trying to stay awake. My sleep's been awful the past few days. Waaah!

Karen, I can't imagine a worse week. I hope your friend gets tons of support and loving. Losing a child is absolutely horrible.

It's a busy week....meeting at school, volunteering at preschool, taking two boys to school, grocery shopping, two nights of soccer practices, soccer games, birthday party, Johnny Appleseed Festival, watching some TV and of course....SCRAPPING!! I wish I could slow this week down since it's almost the end of the month...I don't want my Guest Polly spot to end!!!!!!

I always post the same thing to this thread: the usual stuff, boring, blah blah blah.

We did get Netflix and Hulu Plus this week so I am furiously catching up on Season 3 of 'Modern Family' and DD is gorging on Diego. We haven't had cable in 2 years, so she is dancing around the living room with glee at 'Ga-go' and his 'aminal fam-i-luh.'

I'm anxiously counting down the days until my bestie comes to visit: 23 days! :beat I got her started digitally scrapping this summer, so I am so excited to be able to scrap with her in person.

I'm still recovering from Homecoming weekend with DD1. It was great though - totally amazing night for her! You know it's a crazy Monday when I don't post in the Monday thread until the day is almost over. I hit the ground running at full speed this morning. I took the kids to school and went off to a 2 hour carnival planning meeting. Next year, if I mention chairing the carnival, someone do this to me

:sense

LOL Actually, it's going to be really fun. The other PTO moms are super nice and it's a big, special event for the kids. I just want things to be nice and organized. In the past there's been no budget, no committee, etc., so the lack of organization makes me a bit twitchy. (yes, huge shock, I know LOL). I ran home to let in a repair man, have a two TLP conference calls and then had to drop off a tennis uniform to DD1. By then, it was time for DD2 to get picked up. The usual routine there. I am hoping for a breather this week. Finger crossed. I hope everyone has a great week!

Let me start off by saying that I think those of you who do something with your PTO must have special gifts and definitely earning jewels in your crowns! :) I just get so overwhelmed with all that they do, but I am thankful that there are ladies who are able and willing to do it.

As a teacher this year, I have been the recipient of PTO kindness and I SO appreciate it! but, last year when I was 'just' a parent, I was way overwhelmed at the responsibilities of those who were on those committees.

Anyway, this week is shaping up to be busy. I have what feels like an overload of work to be in preparation for classes and grading assignments/tests/quizzes--apparently, I give too much homework! LOL And then, it is more of the same with soccer practice, church Wednesday, and then this will be our last week with Micah before he is off to work in St. Louis for the month of October.
