Welcome to a brand new week! What's on your schedule for it?

This is a cr-azy one at my house. DD2 turns 6 on Friday so I am finishing up all the details for her party. My mom is flying in for her birthday and the first day of school next week, so I have to get her room ready. I need to take the teenager shopping for school supplies too. I can't believe we're in the last week of summer!!

I hope everyone has a great week!

I'm still counting down the days until school starts. This summer has been so full of drama that I just can't wait to have the house to myself and the littlest one I babysit. I want to get the house in "school order" in the next two weeks as we prepare for the 17th to get here!

Oh my gosh..I need to clean my apt. I don't know what happened to it over the weekend but it's a major catastrophe. So that's my plan for today, plus lesson planning this week. I still have a few weeks before we're starting our year, but I'm bound and determined to be at least semi organized before we start so maybe I don't have those late night last minute trying to get everything together sessions.

Other than that not much going on here this week.

It's just another ordinary week over here with lots of working for me and school for the boys, finally!! Need to finish 50 Shades of Grey, another one from Agatha Christie and The Throne of Fire LOL. This weekend it's Father's Day here in Brazil so I 'll probably go shopping for my dad and hubby :D

I am counting down until my week off! I'm not going anywhere, but I do have lots to get done and pages to scrap! :) I hope this week goes quickly!

Not much going on this week. Mostly trying to keep from throttling Monkey. Her twos were not particularly terrible until this last few weeks. She got baby powder all over the bathroom and permanent marker all over the kitchen walls and chairs while Hubs was upstairs shaving and I was already at work this morning. Sigh. Can't wait to clean that all up when I get home. :hissy

My kids are visiting my in-laws for the week so it's pretty quiet here. A lot of the doctors I work with are on vacation so it's actually a pretty low key week. I'm working on doing some re-organization around the house, planning my daughter's birthday and getting some wish list items done at work.

Have a great week everyone!

*sigh* my baby is turning 2 this friday! I'm not even sure what we're going to do for her big day... maybe just a day at the pool since she loves the water! :) Other than that my boys have swim lessons and a 3 day soccer camp to keep them busy. And I've got a family reunion coming up next week I need to get some things ready for. But before I do anything else I've got to unpack from our weekend trip and get this house back in order!

Big boys go back to school Wednesday!! ((Thank God.))
That's it for during the week plans. (Again, thank God. I'm not in a liking people type mood today.) Saturday however... we have the actual party for my baby brother's return home (he got in this Saturday after being gone since May), and then I have my first out of church whole family get together with my Sunday School class (also Saturday, and am somewhere between nervous and terrified about this, my kids can be a bit much). Followed by a baby shower on Sunday.

I hope that this week is a little bit more toned down than we've had the past couple of months as we're swinging out the last of summer vacation for kiddos this week and next. It's a bit crazy at work as teachers are returning to their classrooms to get everything ready for the 20th.

** How does a mom spell relief? S-C-H-O-O-L ! **

My plan for this week....other than working....is to get the mountains of clothes organized around the house. I swear our bedroom looks like a clothing store blew up in there. LOL

Back to school activities start this week although they don't go back until the 20th. I desperately need to work in haircuts, school supply shopping, clothes shopping, cleaning, organizing, menu planning... it never ends really. LOL!

I had a short weekend trip to Miami to see my daughter and go with my best friend to visit a relative under hospice care. She is so glad to have seen her cousin while she was still aware so that makes me feel good! And my daughter posted to Facebook that she was SO GLAD to have seen her mom. So that made me feel good!

More of the same at my house this week. My son doesn't start college until the 27th so he's still in "stay up late mode" but starting to get excited about the upcoming semester. For me, it's just work, laundry, cook dinner, etc, repeat...

We have a busy week planned. I have to work at registration day tomorrow for school for the PTO projects I do each year. And we're heading to the city for a day trip Wednesday. My dad is coming into town for a work trip and will be with us from Thursday - Saturday. The kiddos are looking forward to everything!

Back to work this week after being 4 wks off... Today went well, hopefully tomorrow will be just as good :)

yeah or neah (depending on if you're ready for them to go back, or not if you've got too much to do still! :)) for the moms who're prepping their kids for school... Glad we don't have to deal with that yet :D And congrats to all the birthday baby's :D

Nothing much over here...plan to scrap tons this weeks, cause got lots of photos waiting to be scrapped. Also finally going to meet one of best friends' newborn baby boy Deon... Then there's work, grocery shopping and house cleaning left... not much exciting!

Oooh sounds like we are just a hive of busy bees this week!!

It's much of the same for us. School starts Wednesday so it's planning, prepping, and soaking up the last days of summer fun. And then it will be organizing, cleaning, planning and creating in the joyousness of normalcy once school starts. I have always liked the start of school...there's such a fun anticipation in it all. But it definitely makes for a surge of hustle and bustle at the start.

Here's to a good week everyone!

I'm *going to* finish what I have left to do in the kitchen tomorrow. That's my only big goal for the week.

Today I'm working on laundry, will be glad to have that behind me.

otherwise, just another week in paradise.

Back to school shopping, haircuts, MIL in town, crazy work schedule, have to go to a birthday party Saturday. Just another week in my life.

This week is gonna be crazy here as well. We have VBS this week and I have tons of veggies to can!

We don't have much going on this week and that's fine with me.

I've been living a dream world in my head making huge plans to gut our basement living area. It's horrible ugly and out dated. The walls have old german style paneling and then carpet is a nasty dark pea-green that has seen better days. My boys are 6 and 8 and in my opinion are old enough to know not to colors on walls and to keep the sword fighting to a full roar, so I think it's time to upgrade it. Only problem is, I really can't afford what I really want to do, so I'm just making plans for now. It's so fun to dream though! :) I really want to break out the wood and build a wall unit with a spot for TV/DVD player and the Wii and then lots of bookshelves. I know I could do it, just a matter of learning as I go. My husband usually thinks I'm fairly crazy when I undertake these type of projects, but he's also always pleasantly surprised with my results. I like that he just lets me go and stays outta my way! :)

We still have until Sept 4th for school, so we have lots of summer play time left too! Yay! :)
