It's Monday again. What's happening in your world this week?

After having sick kids home and Thanksgiving break, we're returning to our normal schedule. I am going to get the house decked out for Christmas this week. DD1 has a band concert on Thursday. I can't believe that December is almost here. I need to kick my Christmas shopping into high gear!

Back 2 Work after a week off and hopefully, getting the Christmas Tree put up & house decorated.

All 6 of us have been sick all weekend long so we are all home today. There's a lot of bickering and arguing going on among the kids so I think they are starting to feel a bit better. Hopefully tomorrow everyone will be back to normal and I can disinfect my entire house! I'm trying to catch up with all my homework and scrapping today but I'm not exactly 100% so moving pretty slow.

We did have a great Thanksgiving though!

Laura, sorry your little ones were sick. Glad they are feeling better :) My little niece where like that for a couple of days too. Im just glad they are over it too :) Now I can do some huggies and kissies.

Going to get some pages done :)
Dh has been off almost 2 weeks and its just been busy around here. So Im going to scrap today for sure :)
The rest of the week is going to be a calm one, yay!

Our library is reopening today after being closed for 2 weeks to move buildings. So we'll be able to resume our Monday & Wednesday story time schedule. Other than that, I really have nothing planned. Kind of planning a low-key week.

We are back in town after 8 days out of town, boys are back in school, I am trying to catch up on laundry and work stuff!

So sorry for everyone that has been sick...that is not fun!

I am hoping to get our Christmas stuff out this week as well. Can't wait to see pictures of everyone's trees/decorations!

Today is my last free day :) I head back to work tomorrow :( Most of my Christmas shopping is done (just ordered my DH a beer T shirt off etsy and a bottle opener) and I am doing minimal X-mas decorating this year.

I did finish off some photo collages this weekend as well as some hybrid clipboards for my sisters. It was fun playing with ModPodge and paper.

I hope all of the sickies leave soon ladies!

I am cleaning my house. It's still gross after being neglected for a year while I was down with my back. I just cleaned out the linen closet and boy did I have a ton of bath and body stuff not being used. I have a huge box of health and beauty stuff to donate! Kyra is home sick (and had a meltdown because she couldn't go to school, silly girl...you would think being a senior would make her loosen up).

I haven't started decorating yet. I realized last year that my tree needs to be replaced and that hasn't happened yet. I also have furniture to rearrange and I'm not doing that by myself! LOL! But I'm ready to have it done, I'm in the holiday spirit for sure. My house just doesn't look like it.

I'm so jealous of those of you almost done or done with shopping. I have not even figured out what everyone is getting yet. My mom wants one of those photo bracelets with pictures of all the grandkids. I don't have good recent pics of my boys so I'm wondering if it would be cute to make one of all the kids at age 1? That's when they were all adorable anyway! LOL!

Work, work, work, and more work. I had a deadline last Friday which slipped because it was humanly impossible, so I have that for today, plus another project deadline for tomorrow, and then back to my regularly schedule crazy work week. I'm dealing with such a range from virtual online worlds for kids which includes a Facebook front-end, to province-wide management software running utilities. Can you guess which one I have more fun with?!

Then for the family, I helped dh with the craft for the Beavers this week, so last night I pre-folded 30 paper fortune tellers (left them blank for the kids to do that part). Add to that dh is out T, W, and Th for various activities, and then both my boys are having a joint birthday party Sunday afternoon. I'm taking the easy route this year, and ordered a DQ Ice Cream Cake (our first!), plus the party is a package from our Youth Bowling alley, so the only thing I have to do is treat bags. They provide 1 hour bowling, 1 hour party room, pop, and pizzas.

I saw The Muppets last night so I woke up with lots of Muppety songs in my head! That's a good way to start the week! :) This is going to be my first full week at my new job - the last few have vacation time and the holdiay - so I hope it goes well. The bad thing is I'm working split shifts - 2 nights and 3 days - for a few weeks. I really hope that changes fast! But at least I had a good weekend. Did lots of scrapping at a crop with some of my favorite people!

Currently waiting for the plumber to arrive. We've been out of hot water since Saturday when our water heater started spewing water all over the place. Crossing my fingers that it will get all fixed today! Wednesday is a dental appointment to figure out if my tooth is chipped or not {gah!} Not really looking forward to either of those big bills coming our way right before Christmas.

The rest of the week is the normal...clean, prepare for Christmas, SCRAP, etc.

ugh I have had 2 kids home from school for 2 weeks being sick, then last week I got sick which turned to pneumonia! I am slowly recovering.

Today I have a meeting at my daughter's school for 6th grade electives for next year so I got off work early. Then just work...Do not have any other engagements this week which suits me just fine after a busy last week!

I think I finished my Christmas shopping...pretty much...Put up the tree Saturday already. Took my daughter's Christmas pics yesterday. Do need to order my cards though. And wrap.

Nothing much here. We decorated the tree and house Saturday evening and went to look at some Christmas lights last night, so this week will just be regular ol' stuff. It's DH's busy season at work, so he's working lots of doubles and DD and I are stuck at home when he is doing that. I've been having fun catching up on old Christmas layouts with the fun new Christmas kits coming out. :)

Spent my day in bed with my first ever Migraine which was NOT fun. Luckily it's all gone now and finally getting some stuff around the house, glad I took the day off! This week is a pretty quiet week not much planned (just the way i like it)

hmm... a few things on my list this week. hoping to finish decorating for christmas. and maybe finish shopping for christmas and getting presents wrapped.
also working on catching up on our 2011 bookwork. i fell WAAAAAY behind with our move earlier this year. *sigh*
spee scrap on tuesday!! woot!!
and hopefully some scrapping.

DH has been away for 5 weeks and was home for the weekend. Monday the removalists were here and hubby went back again in the evening. Tuesday, chiropractor appointment, then photographer here to photograph the place, Wed root canal at the dentist, Thursday and Friday hopefully r&r.

My hubby did our usual "week in review" this morning and I was shocked to see that we don't have much of anything going on in the evening. I get ridiculously excited about weeks like this. It's when we can get caught up on laundry and the little projects around the house. I convinced my hubby to build my youngest son a couple cube bookshelves to mount on the wall above his bunk bed. He's always complaining about having to crawl down to get his books and then crawl back up. When my kid wants books... I make it happen! LOL! I painted those yesterday and we got those mounted tonight. They turned out exactly like I wanted and my son is SO excited.
