Monday, Monday! What's happening?

Monday came around a bit too quickly! I hope everyone had a nice weekend and is ready for a great week. :)

We're off from school here today for President's Day.
I'm taking my little one on a bunch of errands this morning and then we're meeting the rest of the family for lunch at our favorite burger place.

After that, it's back to the grind! There's lots to do on the TLP front as always. I am in high gear now for the school carnival that I am chairing, as it is only a few weeks away. We're also expecting a huge ice/snow storm on Wednesday, so I am trying to batten down the hatches in preparation. Good times.

What are your plans for the week?

No school today, so somehow I have 2 extra children? I don't know how they slip in! We are moving rooms today, the Little's (boys) are swapping with the twins. We got new curtains last week. Boys want room painted camo! It is blue with flowers, butterflies and a huge tree now...sad to cover, but time.
the girls are into Hello Kitty and Angry Birds so curtains are black and we will build off that.
Lots of cleaning today and organizing...yeah, I am happy! tee hee
and Laura, that Carnival sounds like a lot of work!

No School here today so I'm off too! (Normally I have to work even when kids are out). Spending the day with DH doing nothing, maybe?!?! Not much scheduled for the rest of the week which is kinda nice. Will just take each day as it comes. :)

School, errands and cleaning as always. Hoping to get some major purging done this week as well. We just have too much stuff and it's time to get rid of some (most...lol) of it!
I'm starting a 3 session reader's theatre co-op with our homeschool group this week. I'm super excited about it and can't wait to see what the kids come up with. I'm also incorporating library studies with the younger group. So happy I get to involve my two favorite jobs I've ever had into what I'm doing for the next month and a half. I think it's going to be super fun!

No school for me or my kids (two different districts). I scheduled my yearly physical for 7:20 this morning and I'm happy to be back home, all my prescriptions refilled and mostly healthy (although still overweight, which I didn't need a doctor to tell me). Got home and my girls were watching Perks of Being a Wallflower and we just put in Pitch Perfect. It's definitely a stay inside kind of day. The wind is blowing so hard I'm surprised I don't see pieces of my house blowing past. I'll probably work on my 2010 album that I'm doing using Project Life supplies while watching TV.

Half term here so Ty is home all week

Today we popped round hubby's sisters so the kids could have some fun play time together!

Not sure what's on the agenda for tomorrow but we are going soft play on wednesday

Thursday will be another play it by ear day, then Friday hubby has half a day so we are going cinema to watch wreck it Ralph

Today's a holiday for us, too - Family Day. My youngest slept over at his aunty's last night, so he's coming home around noon, and we'll all hang out together today, playing games and watching a movie. :)

And this week, I'll attack our taxes (*shudder*). I hate doing taxes.

Well, my hubby is off of work for President's Day, but our kids have school (their school is taking this coming Friday and next Monday off instead due to the state wrestling meet.) So, I switched and I'm working today and taking Friday and Monday off. It's nice - our office is closed but I'm catching up on a ton of stuff, wearing jeans and blasting music and feeling very laid back.

Eric bought us a camper today. Yeah. Not sure on that one. He is super pumped (his family camped a ton when he was growing up, so this is a big thing for him), the kids are insanely excited, and I keep thinking about how much work it's going to be. :rofl Debby Downer.

Girl Scout meeting tonight. More working on my sister's album tonight as well, I'm up to 13 pages.

I thought today was Sunday. Hubby has been working wierd schedules this past few weeks, so my days are all messed up. So far not sure whats happening with his work, so he might stay on nights or might end up going back on days, who know? All i know is that my schedule is all messed up..lol.

It's spring holiday (spring I don't see spring yet grrrr) for Kate so she's off for the week. I have to work so trying to plan stuff on my free days. Tomorrow afternoon out to a friends for coffee. Friday hubby took the day off so hopefully, if DD is behaving ;), we will all go to an indoor playground. I LOVE these as the kids can play all they want without really hurting themselves and have a blast and we can be kids again too ;) I also want to do the grocery shopping on friday as saturday morning (no baby swim class as it's holiday) and saturday evening I will be baking an Aplle Pie and a Cheesecake for sunday and sat. afternoon meeting up with some mums and november kids. Sunday will be busy busy as I will be celebrating my 30th birthday (ieks a grown up ><) because it is actually on monday and I will be working.

Holiday here too. I was supposed to go to work and then to the zoo with my mom and the girls, but the baby was up most of the night, still not sure why. And then I slept through my alarm, so no work and I only sent the big girl to the zoo, just in case the baby is sick. Tomorrow I have to make up the shift I missed at work today and then I'll be trying to get all the laundry done and sorted because we're going out of town this weekend!

everybody home at my house today too.....I purged and deleted 25 GIGS in my scrapping folder :) and have done so much laundry I have lost track!!! My DH is taking my DD out now to practice driving in our brand new car!!!! Can't believe he is willing to take her!!!

had a horrible start to the morning and decided to take the day off school, then we went to the zoo with Dalis and her girl and totally had a blast, got home and went straight to ballet and now I'm nursing an accident and most painful kiss goodnight ever

tomorrow, Asher has a follow up ear appt,

the rest of the week is normal, Awanas on Wednesday and normal school routine

Man, we had school yesterday (private school) when even the local public schools were off. It was kinda weird. LOL! Then my boys started swim classes again last night and were both SO excited about that. This week is going to be WAY busier than normal too. I have something every night until Saturday! Tomorrow my youngest has a dentist appointment then we're back to my parents to finish off my mom's kitchen. I'll be posting pictures soon. Wednesday we have a soup and bread supper before our Lent service at church and the Sunday School group is making all the soups, plus I somehow got volunteered to set everything up too. Then we'll have church and choir practice after that! Thursday is scrapbook night that I run so I'll be at that until 10:00 pm and then Friday night we are having our small group bible study over to our house. Eek! I just realized that means I need to find time to do some cleaning somewhere in there too!

Oh! I'm a day late! Yesterday was a holiday here in Canada.. Family Day. I orginally was supposed to work but someone needed a switch and I very willingly obliged. We actualy went on a 140 KM (87 miles) snowmobile ride with the kids, my in-laws and friends. We drove 70km one way and then stopped and had lunch. My boys LOVED it and it was my first time on the trails ever! But I finally go to put some miles on my sled. It was such a great day!

For the rest of the week, well I work tonight and then I'm off until Sunday where I start a stretch of 5 nights. So I plan to get some things organized around the house. We just finished painting my youngest's room and now I need to declutter my boys' closets and do an overhauld of everything....

Miss Monkey had a dentist's appt this morning. She was 'so excite-ick' to go and get a treat from the treat box after the appointment. I have a lunch mtg with my boss today that I think will be him assigning me something to do for a special project happening in the next few months. Oh, and I think the Easter clothes I ordered for her should be on my doorstep today! Yeah!

That's it! Regular life stuff and looking forward to another quiet weekend in just a few days.

I confess that today feels like Monday to me. My days have been off since Friday, with the four day weekend here.

Sadly, we just learned that DG's grandpa passed away this morning. He lived a long and full life. :beat If DG is able to take leave we will probably be traveling to be with the family. So I'm planning for any situation and wishing I had that beam machine I always dream about so we could just beam on over and hug everyone.

If we are unable to go, then it's back to the grind and filling our days and minds with our "normal" routine. I'm battling the sick and feel pretty shredded and my voice sounds really sexy (aka not at all sexy). But it could be so much worse so I'm in "just keep swimming" mode and so very grateful the sun is shining. :) I have some Girl Scout duties to take care of this week and lots of design and crafty and writing work to do. I feel full of inspiration so I hope my sick fuzz brain cooperates this week.

Hope everyone has a beautiful week!

Monday, Monday! What's happening?
