Monday, Monday! What's happening?

Monday is here. Again. LOL
What do you have planned this week?

Low key, I hope!

Our director is out this week so guess who is dealing with Monday Madness at work!?!! Me, that's who! Hopefully, the week will fly by! And tomorrow I am traveling up the road to the small town of Rosebud, AR. (If you watched American Stuffers on the Animal Planet channel.....then you've seen it). Anywhoooo, I'm heading up there to help their one & only tech person with a few things. Should be interesting!

Other than that, we're gearing up for Superbowl Sunday which is a tradition in our house with my parents coming over to watch the game on our 60" TV.

Not a lot here. 4H on Wed and DH has his stupid long day in Michigan on Friday. Other than that just scrapping, school, errands. The normal.

My next class starts today (Intro to Fitness and Wellness Coaching), so I'll be up to my ankles in that for the next couple days. Because even though I have until Sunday I MUST FINISH ASAP. Hate things hanging over my head.

Other than that, my 2nd round of Diet Bet started today, and I think it's gonna be even harder this time, so I will probably have to work out for 5 hours a day. :giggle

I am kinda excited. I am hosting a group of brand new to homeschool ladies here at my home tomorrow. We live in an area not very supportive to Home Schooling, and there are no stores to go touch and look at the books. They are coming over for a Hands on Curriculum event here at my house! I was helped so much when I first started, I am all giggly about helping them. They are just ladies here in my town, we have met thru FB and having older kids with us as we shop during school hours.
"Hey are you a Home schooler?"

I made my first trip out of the house today since my knee injury just over a week ago! Took the little man to school, it was definitely a slower walk with me on crutches but we left a little earlier so all was ok

Tomorrow he has a birthday party after school so he is excited about that, he gave his invites for his party out this morning eeeeekkkk that's less than 2 weeks away! So much to do and to get!

Nothing else really planned this week

Let's see... I have an appointment at the BMV to have my license renewed tomorrow morning. It expired Saturday --- shhh! :giggle

I'm also going to a fundraiser/birthday celebration of a nonprofit that I support Friday night. That should be interesting.

Otherwise, just the same ol', same ol' for the rest of the week. The week after your birthday is always a bit of a downer. :groan

Wednesday morning the kids have their checkups for their scoliosis. Both have mild curvature monitored through x-rays about twice a year. The appointments themselves are usually pretty easy, but driving down in Dallas with its unpredictable traffic stresses me out, especially since I'm not familiar enough with the area to be able to easily take an alternative route if things get bad. And there's also normally a LOT of sitting around and waiting at the hospital. What should have been an hour or so turned into more like 5 hours last time. :thumbsdowns

Other than that, it's just a sax lesson today for DS and his D&D club tomorrow, and Valentine shopping with DD sometime this week. :)

Trying to get healthy! :)

Normal week except Wed we go to meet our oldest son's teacher ahead of report cards. Our son is a bright guy, but still hasn't learned that he needs to present his best at school (and not just do the minimum or sometimes less than the minimum). He has all the resources and support, just doesn't want to bother. We're running out of ideas to try. He just doesn't want to do the work.

Ped day today so the kids are home from school. Right now I'm at the 'Cache-à-l'eau' - a huge indoor McDonald's-type amusement park with free Wifi!! Getting some designing done here while they play. My dh is out of town for a few days, so it's just me and the boys.

We are just doing the normal school/work. We are stuck inside at least for now because our whole city is 1 big sheet of ice. I am told it is going to warm a bit and melt though, and if that happens, then I will go work out tonight at Curves and the boys have taekwondo. The rest of the week is pretty normal for us too - next week is the busy one coming up tho!

We had ice and fog and freezing rain this morning, so a 2-hour late start for the kidlets. Not for me though. Bah!

Tomorrow night I'm hitting up the craft store with my seester and getting stuff to make a bunting/banner/pennant/whateverthehellyouwanttocall it for my SIL's baby shower, which is Saturday. We're also going to Silver Linings Playbook.

Other than that and the baby shower, I got nada. That's ok with me. We had a super busy weekend and I need to catch up on PL!

This week could go really well, or really bad. All three of the managers, including my boss are on travel this week. Which could be good, unless some catastrophe happens. Then it could be bad. My office mate is sick/teleworking/taking vacation this week, which could be good since it's quiet, or it could be bad if I decide to get sick.

I have my 3rd photography class tonight, which I am really looking forward to. Helene is home sick with Strep throat and scarlet fever.
You win some, you lose some.

Mmmm go to bed early!!! haha... Seriously I can't...well I can, but falling asleep takes forever and ever! LOL

Hehe...I really need to relax this week, besides from the normal grocery shopping, entertaining our girl, working...kind of dull, huh?

the kids go back to school tomorrow after their Summer break - my eldest is starting Year 11 and my youngest is starting Year 6 (where did that time go???) oh and I am still waiting for my power to come back on (its nearly 48 hours without power!) so apart from that not a lot going on in my life this week .....

This is the 2nd to last week of my day job....only 14 days left! YAY! Busy busy though.

Lots of chaos going on around us, so my theme this week is to "enjoy the little things in life"

hubby is traveling AGAIN this week, so it's just the kids and me. we're just kickin' it with our usual stuff - school and homework and gymnastics. we do have one school music program to go to this week. otherwise, not much to shout about.

The last week of the daily challenges... sniff sniff! :)

Otherwise the usual. Grocery shopping tonight, Choir practice on Wed. then nothing else really. Huh. Kind of looking forward to that.
