Monday, Monday! What's happening?

It's Monday! I hope your week is off to a good start.

I am so busy this week! Today, I am in high gear for my daughter's elementary school Carnival. I'm the chairperson, so I am signing contracts with the carnival company and food vendors this week. It's only 8 weeks until carnival day. Eep!
On Thursday, I am heading to Anaheim for Winter CHA. I am so excited to be meeting a bunch of TLP designers there. We're really looking forward to the creative inspiration and the time together. Woot! Can't wait!

What do you have planned this week?

today is packing day, my least favorite part of traveling. :( boyfriend and i head back to vancouver tomorrow. i'm not looking forward to saying goodbye to family (it's always harder when i don't know when the next trip will be) or to traveling, but i am looking forward to getting home and getting back into a routine. vacation has been wonderful, but you can't stay on vacation forever!

today is the last day of Christmas vacation!! happy, sad, torn on both emotions...
I home-school my teens, and my littles are in public school.
So today is laundry, laundry and then more laundry!!
I have to finish the Science plans for the end of the year, and redo our plans for History a bit!
then fun!!
a bit of clearance sale shopping for the teens (torment for the littles) and then big pot of Spaghetti and Meatballs for dinner!!
It's a home together family night, and all will be in bed early!! woot to the Woo hoo on that!

Meeting other's from TLP? that is so cool!! I can only imagine the fun that will be happening there and brainstorming for the upcoming events!!

Winter CHA? :( This is something I wanna do on my bucket list!! My week will be filled with WORK WORK WORK...

My kids just went back to school today, so I'm looking forward to being back at my regular work hours and getting off at 3:00 again instead of at 5:00. I'm looking forward to our regular routine in general.

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow, back to choir practice on Weds, haircut on Thursday and a surprise birthday party on Friday. That's a lot on the calendar for me!!!

Otherwise, I'm just doing the daily challenges here. My scrapping mojo is in HIGH gear! Woo-hoo! :)

I wanna go!!!!!!! Y'all are going to have soooo much fun!

This week is the week that routines will be re-established and we will NOT be going to camp for the next few weekends so it'll be nice to stay home and maybe get some stuff done around the house/yard/garage. Nothing really special going on during the week and I am really liking that too!

Let's see, so far I uploaded 5 TLP pages to the galleries ( YAY), did 3 layouts this morning and now I am bored. Not that there isn't alot of stuff to be done around here HAHA
My week, is pretty much going to be DULL as usual. No running around, no appt's this week. So I might catch up on some challenges, snap some IG pics, read ( i have 4 book series waiting to be read). IDK yet

Today hubby went back to work, after over 2 weeks off for Christmas - I've missed him! We spent the day with my Mum and headed to Jolly Jungle (my local soft play centre) and Ty had a blast!

Ty goes back to school tomorrow, so it's going to be really quite around here this week as I get back into our normal routine!

I plan on some scrapping during the week, I'm getting on ok with the challenges so far and hope to keep up!

Still trying to get over this lingering cough. Starting back on our school schedule today and DD has 4H on wed if we feel better. And getting started on purging and organizing...things are definitely a little out of control here.

Starting back to school this week... ballet on Monday, heading to the Aquarium tomorrow for field trip and trying to convince hubby to join us since he had such a crappy Christmas break being sick, and just getting the house clean and Christmas decorations down and prep for scrap night this weekend :)

scraping wise, I hope to have time to finish up December Daily today and get pictures and post them.

Bianca sidekick friend the tamiflu is working! wooohooooo... but I am still down with the congestion and headaches...at least NO FEVER for me!!!! wooohooooooooooo.... ok, this was too much excitement I am off to bed!

Back to work and school about sums it up for us... Not a whole lot going on otherwise, so I'm hoping to get me scrappin' time in! :-)

School started here last Thursday... and this week is the last full week of the term.

It's on tap to be a busy, busy week for me. Today is errand/hopefully finally scrap day. My DD has been sick with mystery illness since 11/25. I got news back this am that it's not Lyme's, but we still have a battery of tests due back tomorrow pm from seeing a diagnostic doctor. I'm not optimistic that we'll find out anything. He pretty much told us that with what's been done already he is suspecting it's partially psychological. Suggesting maybe a bully or something. My kid laid on the couch sick much of her BREAK. Hmmm. AND she chooses to go to school even clearly not feeling well. Doesn't add up.

I work Tue-Friday this week, and have a PFC meeting tomorrow night. Thurs. my husband is heading to his college roommate's wife's funeral :( so sad, so young - cancer sucks. Our office is converting to electronic medical records and has a training after work on Friday... I want more time!!!

How fun Laura! One day I'll make it to CHA too! :) I have a quiet week ahead, working from home (or trying to... ugh I need to get motivated!). Whoops Heather I need to take down the Christmas tree too! But likely I'll keep this chore for the weekend. :)
Krista, I hope they can figure out what's up with your daughter!

I'm just trying to get stuff done around the house because on Friday I'm going to Florida!!

We (running buddy and I) signed up for the Goofy Challenge this weekend, half marathon on Saturday and full on Sunday. Stupidest thing I've ever done. I'm not trained at all, even less than I was the last time I tried to do a marathon. Oy.

But, I have vowed to go, and take my time and have fun with it, and finish when I finish. I told him just make sure there's a chocolate milk for me when I get there. :giggle

I leave Friday early and come home Monday. No husband and no kids. Can't let that whole marathon thing ruin that! LOL

I so hope you don't think I am bragging, :waiting we save for 3 months and take mad advantage of the sales :shopping after Christmas. With 7 growing kids,:crazy3 it is a big huge savings!
I tell ya, I feel like such a good mom to have my kids all in new clothes, that they love and will wear for the next 4 months!! (next growth spurt) But 15 shirts (blouses) for my girls (they are twins and share), a complete outfit for my littles pants, shirts and hoodies, and 2 hoodies for my big teens, along with 4 pair of shorts, and 5 shirts each! All for under $300!!! :cheer I am so excited!! I even got 2 pair of capris for the spring!! woo hoo! :cheer
What a marvelous MOnday!!!!! :bunny Back to school tomorrow with styling kids! :wooot

We had a BIG fat day. :yesss Jacob finally got his BAHA (bone anchored hearing aid) today and it is a huge deal. So, our day was made up of doctor's appointments, TV interviews (:dizzy) lunch, show & tell at Jake's school and explanations/show to his teachers and nurse, etc.

Layout will be here soon. ;)

I'll be scrapping tonight to try to catch up from the last 2 weeks/year that I haven't scrapped. Plus I need to finish editing vacation pics.

CHA sounds like so much fun Laura!

Angie - You are crazy (but still my inspiration)!

Anne - I am a huge bargain shopper - I scour clearance at Target like it was my job :)

I am in NJ on a business trip. I am missing DH birthday. However, it is nice to get away for a few days since my children have been behaving like animals!

Re: Monday, Monday! What's happening?

I'm preparing for CHA and working, of course. I need to get my hair cut, hoping to fit that in before I leave. Clean the litterboxes. You know, my life is so glamorous. Haha.

Looking forward to getting out of the cold this weekend, though! And, of course, spending time with TLP friends and Digi Show friends. :) Drinking wine with Amy and taking turns braiding each other's hair. LOL

And all of the pillow fights, of course! Because that's TOTALLY what girls do.

It's back to school for the kids. They were both excited to show off their Volcom hoodies that they got from their cousin for Christmas/birthday (yes, both kids are December babies). The look like googly-rock monsters. One got this one, and the other got the same but in red/grey/black:

I'm off to the vet to get more pain medication for my sweet girl, because she is definitely showing problems with her knees (she had 2 ACL repairs last year), and to check how the palliative drug is doing for her cancer. She is so frisky these days, but she shouldn't run around on ice/snow with her knees, so it is good but sad to see all at the same time. So far so good, the oral tumour hasn't come back yet, so I'm am praising God every single day.

Other than that, we have the normal activities - Beaver + Cub Scouts, homework, bible verse memorization, etc. We'll try to take advantage of the mild weather to go skating a few times. And I have to find time to take down the tree + other Christmas decorations.
