It's Monday!! Are you ready to take on another week or starting out at a crawl?

I'm definitely in crawl mode today. I started feeling yucky on Thursday night and by lunch time on Friday, I knew I was toast. I should have gone to the doctor, but instead I ended up at the ER on Saturday. Loads of fun. I'm creeping back into the land of the living today. I have lots on my calendar this week: awards banquet for DD1, track meet, daisy scout stuff to coordinate, two dates with girlfriends, etc etc. We're also gearing up for NSD behind the scenes here at TLP! It's going to be a great weekend of fun!

I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

Monday thread really makes me ponder the week! so hope you feel better Laura! Don't push yourself (okay, you probably will, but I feel better typing it)
We have a teachers day at school in town, so we take it too. We are filling the van with friends of the kids, and headed to White Sands Monument(over 400 state parks are free this week).

not snow or sand, but gypsum...a white dust, like sand, that is wild and has huge drifts, that we sled down!!!
That will wear the kidlets out, then shave heads when we get home (I do Monday haircuts), and we never know who will show up!
The week is boring back to school, except I have some fun kits to scrap with and plan on getting a bit caught up with my pictures!

umm... thankful we're getting to the end of some things and soooo ready for a break LOL

other than our regular week of homeschooling we have...
Monday - ballet, and I'm hoping to sneak off to Archivers, grocery/Costco shopping
Wednesday - lead worship for the Women's bible study final day in the morning, worship rehearsal in the evening and Awana's award night

sure hope you feel better soon, Laura!!!

Me too, Laura. Starting to feel a bit better today, I have a nasty head cold . Going to be a nice easy Monday.

I'm back home from my being out of town for almost 2 weeks visiting family. So today will be unpacking, laundry, and running errands. It feel so good to be home. Hope you feel better and hope everyone has a great week :)

I hate the sickies!! I hope you're feeling better soon Laura! I was getting a sinus infection a few weeks ago...and it totally scared me because I had traveling and my mom's funeral to do. I went in and asked for antibiotics! I never do that, but the thought of getting super sick scared me with all I had going on!

This week:
Errands
Car serviced
Shopping
Cleaning
Planning
Mani/Pedi

We have a gal from Japan coming on Saturday, so I have a lot of planning to do and coordinating with the gal she'll be staying with. She has serious cat allergies, and since I have four cats, I asked a friend if she could host her. The gal is 24, and my friend is 23, so it will be perfect. She has a new home so I know no cats have been there. We will definitely do a Hollywood tour, but I don't think she'll care to do other Socal tourist things like Disneyland, Universal Studios, etc... They have all those things in Japan! I'll have to put on my thinking cap this week and come up with fun things...and lots of shopping!

So sorry to hear about all the sicknesses--I hope you are all feeling better soon!

Both boys had their tonsils out last Thursday and were pretty pitiful all weekend, but seem to be on the mend today.
DH is starting week 3 of painting our kitchen cabinets--who knew that was such a job? we sure didn't. It is going to look good when it is done, but oh my....
I am just doing the usual mom stuff--cooking, cleaning, laundry, taking care of kids--and teaching. I am sure everyone is feeling the end of school approaching just like I am (i.e. teachers are ready, kids are ready, etc.). Need to work on some planning for DH's med school graduation party next month. And maybe get completely caught up on PL--that would be great!

We had a busy weekend - practices, a swim-a-thon, I had a Little League board meeting and we were helping out friends whose house flooded. It was good to get out of the house because I was still recovering from our trip to Boston and all that yuckiness and drama.

This week we have a total of 6 baseball games, as well as soccer and swimming. The weather is beautiful today for the first time in forever. I'm hoping to catch up on my scrapping. I have three pages that are 75% done - I just need to finish them already. :)

Brother in law visiting fr CA this week....have barely spent any time with him so super excited about getting to know him better ! :)

I'm too tired to live. Not sure why.

Just another week of coaching, school, (3 weeks left on both of those!) and kids (10 years or so).

our basement flooded over the weekend, so we are just trying to focus on getting that finished up and put back together.
besides that, we have a few lacrosse games, a soccer game, and several practices of various sports.
there's also a vet appointment for Dublin, and a few other things here & there.

oh, and I ordered an Erin Condrin planner that shipped today, and I'm hoping to get it this week... we'll see!!

Birthday party planning, finishing up my monthly challenge pages, and a playdate tomorrow are on my to do list. I'm also supposed to be watching the videos that came with my camera, but I'd rather just play with it, LOL!

Sorry to hear about everyone being sick. Hopefully the weather warming up will help a bit.

Anne! That places looks so pretty and sounds so fun!

Yuck on the flooded basement for two of your too! That is so not fun, but it seems to have happened in a LOT of areas over the last few weeks.

We have a pretty normal week. I soccer game, one baseball practice, choir practice for me and then my parents are actually going to be staying with us for one or two days while their septic system is completely replaced. YUCK! (I mean about the septic part) I think it'll be fun to have my parents overnight for a short visit. :) They live the next town over so we see them all the time, just not over night. My boys will love that!

Well, I was feeling bad this morning when I woke up so sent B in the school bus and laid down for a short nap.... I woke up with the 3:35pm pick up alarm for Bianca!

I can't work on more than one page at a time, just get all confused.

We had parent teacher interviews with the big girl's teachers last night ... *sigh* its going to be a LONG year! Small girl had her cross country run today for school (she has been training for the past month with her dad) so I weaseled my way off work to go watch here which was nice :). Other wise its pretty much same old same old :)

Sorry to hear about all the sickies .. I feel your pain and i hope youa are all feeling better soon!. My antibiotics finished up today and I still have a sore throat which is darn annoying but I do feel better in my sinuses so I'm dealing with the throat better than I was :D
