Here we are at the start of another week! What's on your schedule?

Today, my girlfriend and I are taking our 5 year olds to Build a Bear. J has been over the moon about it...counting down since last Thursday. LOL Should be fun. Tomorrow is a work day. On Wednesday, I'm having lunch and going shopping with a girlfriend. My oldest has a choir performance, so I'll be heading to that as well. Thursday is take your daughter to work day!! DH took our oldest to work last year, so it's my turn this year. I am going to be depending on you guys to make TLP really interesting for her. LOL

Sounds like you have an awesome week ahead of you this week Laura :) This week I am working and getting my tax paperwork to get it done on Friday *the last day to do it is the 31rst I'm a last minute kind of girl*

Sounds like a fun week! Today I am home sick from work. Boo :( whatever I have has knocked me on my butt since Saturday morning. Hoping tomorrow is better! Tomorrow night I have a meeting for a group I volunteer with and that's about all other than a busy week at work.

This week is starting out rough for me...just hoping it gets better as we go along. Nothing really planned for this week...just school, chores, errands...the usual.

Nothing in particular going on this week. I need to run out and get my nephew a Lego GC before his bday party on Sunday. DH is taking the GMAT Saturday morning (although he's already been admitted to grad school, they want him to take it again) Saturday, so he'll be elbow deep in books until then.

I still haven't heard anything from any of the jobs I applied for, not even the 'practically guaranteed' one, so I sent a couple of emails for volunteer positions for some children/adoption-focused nonprofits that were advertising in my church's bulletin this weekend. At least I can get some better writing samples, some experience, and do something good for the community while I'm waiting around, right?!

Today I am in recovery mode from yesterday's Girl Scout Amazing Race – I do not have the energy of a 10-year-old anymore! LOL This week is lots of very overdue house cleaning and prep for DD's birthday party this weekend and for the guests we have coming next week. The kids have state testing again this week, which usually means little or no homework, so maybe I can get some extra help. :whistle Friday evening is the elementary school's spring festival. We missed it last year because DD was sick, so hopefully we can make it this year. :)

LOL Kim! We do GS too and I totally agree. Good luck LeeAndra and yes volunteering does wonders! Hope your week ends better than it started! Feel better Shannon! I hate paperwork Micheline! I hope nothing too crazy happens at TLP on Thursday... :)

My dad is visiting from California, so my days off this week are busy with hanging out with him... I'm working on the 6th grade farewell planning. Both kids have events this week - orchestra and field trips etc. Lots of soccer and events coming up.

I've dragged my feet on painting my boys' room for 2 weeks, so I'm going to finish today OR ELSE.

Then tomorrow I guess I put the floor in.

Oy what I have I gotten myself into. I swear every marathon "taper" period I end up taking on some huge project. This must be why I run... to keep me from remodeling my entire house. :rofl

I'm finishing up a project this week at work, so I'm expecting lots of tiny last minute changes to keep me more than busy. And I'm sending in sweet snacks for my gr 4 son's Book Bistro - they are having a bistro setting to discuss the latest book they are reading - very creative book reports. I'm also creating a Bistro menu outline for his book report that he will fill in. Having fun playing with fonts on that one.

Today is CLEANING day over here! My house was completely neglected last week during all the party prep for my son's surprise party but now that's over and I'm in recovery mode. The plan is to get everything sparkling today so I can get back to design work tomorrow! I'll also get a little break from the cleaning to take my nephew's 3 month pictures in an hour or so ... :)

For me, it my first day at my new job without my guide(retired Paralegal). I was nervous about it all weekend, but it's now lunch and all is going smoothly. Yeah! Otherwise, just work for me Monday-Thursday, a Wildtree party Wednesday night and a visit with my Mom on Thursday. :-)

I don't really have to much for exciting plans, just a lot of routine stuff on the to-do list. We got my daughter a new loft bed and have to put that together this week. I need to draw the layout for our garden so we can figure out where we need to prepare the soil. We have a bunch of other yard work to do as well. My SIL should be having her baby any day now - she was due the 20th, so it is inevitable that it'll happen soon! Besides that, just work, homeschool, cook, clean, scrap, and repeat. Oh, and I want to get the kids out for a photo shoot. I get crabby when I run out of fresh pics to scrap with and edit, lol.

well, it will be another week with tons of laundry and housework that i hate, btw! i didn't find another person to help me with all the work here at my place :(

My oldest son's b-day party is on Saturday, so we're getting the last few things in our house cleaned up. Did most of it this weekend thankfully. Then we just have to KEEP it clean. Tonight I have my Weight Watchers meeting and then I'll go get groceries. Tomorrow the boys each have a friend coming over to play after school (so much for keeping my house clean, whoops). Wednesday is a soccer game for my youngest and then my choir practice. Thursday I'm getting a haircut and then this weekend we'll have my sister's family in town and both sets of grandparents will be over during the day on Saturday. Phew! I'm going to need a nap on Sunday after church! :)

Same 'ol stuff going on here... laundry, groceries, running kids around, :dizzy, SCRAPPING!, shopping for our Lily-Pad :wub *SEE HERE*, Margarita Mondays (well this week it's a Margarita & Mexican Monday for me and Holly :bunny - my neighbor/good friend across the street and I get together once a week [maybe more :whistle]).

Hope everyone has a great week! BTW--- I can't believe there's only 5 1/2 weeks left of school for my kids!! This year has FLOWN!

Yesterday was Monday and we met friends for breakfast, then they came over for a swim. In the afternoon I took my daughter to do batik painting. Hubby surprised me last night with some perfume, a kind of thank you gift for helping him do a photobook for work.
Today, the kids have just gone back to school after spring break and I think I might go get a pedicure. Tomorrow is ANZAC Day, not sure if we are going to the dawn service or not, hubby has to go. Friday haircut then going out Friday night, work function to a brewery (shame I dont drink beer). All in all a good week ahead, and I am documenting it all by doing a Week in the Life.

Well, I started the week off with a bang by having surgery. :) my parents are in town visiting, and we just have a few days of visiting planned, nothing too exciting.

Work, soccer, work, work, soccer, work, work, Soccer game...lol....Sadly that is my week...Work is killing me! So tired when I get home.

Today we went looking at granite countertops and accidentally found a stone yard and got to actually watch them cutting some granite and then went back and looked at remnants and got to bring some pieces home... am so excited to actually see them in my house!!! I also found hardware I liked and bought them and also bought some mulch for the flower gardens

Tomorrow they're going to try to install the upper cabinets that are done and then my parents will go back home and my Dad will work in the remaining cabinets and will come back next month to bring them back and finish up installing cabinets :)

Then I have some major dental work being done Tuesday afternoon and Bible study in the evening

Wednesday night I have rehearsal, Thursday night is ballet and then it's Friday EEK!

School work. And more of it. I am way behind.

Tomorrow, I get to have Kennedy while his mom goes to the doc. They are here right now, for dinner, because she has no money to buy food with her new apartment. :p My grandma is coming by tomorrow too, to see Kennedy. We're celebrating her 92nd b-day, so I am getting her a little cupcake and a card with some fuschia baskets I'm putting together tonight.

It seems like I have something to do on Thursday, but I can't for the life of me remember it right now.

I have to get busy on some writing, and then start creating a resume. Ugh. I hate the idea of telling anyone that I took a little over two years off to be a stay-at-home gran. :p
