It's Monday again! What are you all up to this week? Summer is flying by so fast..which for me is good and bad. My kids are already at the 2 month mark (of being home) and we go back to school on August 23rd here so the lack of routine and general overall boredom (despite all the different activities we've had them in) is starting to get to everyone. I love the carefree mornings/evenings and the lack of schedule summer brings but I think everyone is itching to get back to a regular routine now.

We are back on a plane again (after coming home Saturday I haven't even had time to put my suitcase away) in the morning for a quick trip up North (we will be home on Friday) to visit the in law's :dizzy once we get back we have 2 days at home and then we are off to the beach :tu

Work for me. I'm hoping to get some major catch up done today. We're supposed to have thunderstorms all day too (which I actually love!) Also need to hit the grocery store on the way home today, and figure out when I'll be able to get John's birthday present (he wants an iPod for when he walks the dogs).

This is a crazy week here...We had planned on giving DD a summer break the same as the public school here (we've always gone year round) because she asked for a summer break...well on friday she decided she was ready for the school year to start today (I told her no..lol..but we're starting on Aug. 1st instead). I had begun lesson planning which is why I think she got excited for the new school year, so this week I'm going to be crazy trying to make sure I have the first few weeks planned & printed. Also attempting week in the life...I started yesterday since I think of our week Sunday - Saturday. Should be fun...this is my 3rd attempt, was hoping to scrap it as I go along but that's going to have to wait now so it'll probably end up in my pile of other unfinished projects..but i'll get some great pictures/ notes nonetheless (I love Ali Edwards printable sheets she put on her site this year...makes it so much easier to keep track of our day!!!).

I'm home alone this week. DH is out of town for work, I had to get up at an ungodly hour this morning to bring him to the airport. I'm actually working from home all week, except for Friday, when I have to go in. I have a deadline on Wednesday for 2 papers. I think I'm done with one (waiting for feedback from my advisor), and only 1/5 done with the second, so I'm focusing on that today.

well our summer holiday officially started today, the weather is beautiful so i have kicked the kids off the playstation and outside in the sunshine,im catching up with some scrapping and am actually enjoying it so hopefully my mojo is here to stay

I'm so ready to say "I have no plans this week" alas that won't be this week. We have swimming lessons Mon - Thurs and the county fair is Thur - Sun. We'll spend the majority of our time there. I'm hoping to get lots of scrapping in somewhere though because I'm going to freak out if I don't get too lol

It's the last week of school for us this week and it's crazy busy with picnics and plays and parties! I shall be glad of the rest when school finally finishes!

I don't have a whole lot going on this week. Yeah! We had bunches of friend at our house this weekend and we all took a bus trip to see Jimmy Buffett in Chicago, so I'm ready for a chilling out week. :) I'm also going to do a little scrapping in the evenings. Yay!

This week starts our craziness. I'm not sure I'm entirely ready for it... I've really enjoyed the slow pace of our summer so far, but it's out the window now! Mondays, football. Tuesdays, Gymnastics for my oldest. Wednesdays, football and gymnastics for DD. Thursday, gymnastics for my oldest again. He just got moved up to team, so his hours in the gym will jump from one hour to four hours for the next few weeks, and then up to six hours. Uggh. Unfortunately the gym is a 30-min drive from us, so I'm hoping to maybe work out a carpool with someone eventually. We'll see.

I think today we're gonna go swimming, after we go buy Isaac's football pants and shoes. Trying to stay cool... even though yesterdays spit of a rain did bring some cooler air with it, we are still looking at high 80's and low 90's. Sizzle. I feel cooked... you should see our grass :(

Nothing here. DD and I are both getting over a cold. It's still too hot to play outside, so she and I are both pretty bored and restless in the house. DH is finishing up his class for the summer. We'll have my SS this weekend.

See? Boring. :giggle

My oldest is off at camp and then we will all join him Friday for Family Camp on the weekend! Other than that - work during the weekdays, plus we're switching around kids' bedrooms in the evening, so it will be a lot of housework and work and packing. But next weekend should be fun!

Not too much. I have sales contract training for a couple of hours Tuesday and Thursday afternoon. A trip to the library with the boys on Wednesday and probably our local Farmer's Market on Saturday. Nice, slow week. Thankfully.

Last week before my husband and children go on holidays. I won't go with them as I just begin a new job...
I have a lot to do at work checking email adress.
I'm sad the month of luly is nearly over as my guest spot there will turn to an end.

Classes and camps are over for us. We'll get our back to school shopping done this week and try to have some low-key fun.

Not a lot going on here, for a change. I have started Ali's A Week in the Life and it's going well.I am helping out at the school canteen two days this week, plan on going to the mall today and IKEA on Thursday.
