I love creating mini albums. I'm going on a mini vacation today and I premade a mini album, printed off some embellishments and am packing it up to take with me to document in my spare time. I'm so excited to share it with you. I really love how it turned out and can't wait to have the finished product in my hands.

Have you ever scrapbooked while on vacation? I know a lot of people do, but this is a first for me. I'm really excited to try it out!

Not sure if I can be that organized before a trip.... LOL. I pinned the idea though. I'm going on our first family camping trip this summer! ;)
 
What a great idea! We have several trips planned for this summer so I'm obsessing about travel journal/albums at the moment. Last year my daughter and I scrapped our trip during our trip... but it was a little more smash bookish. We were traveling with my parents so I knew we would be in for the night earlier than we might have without them. We used it as our activity to pass the time in our hotel room at night. You can see what we did here.

I want to keep the same basic concept for this summer, but switch it up somehow. Not sure how yet though. Your idea would definitely work for our weekend trips.
 
That is so super clever and cute Sarah! I love the pocket type idea and also I think it's brilliant to leave it bound with a rubber band until you get home, just in case you need more or less pages. Hope you are able to fill it with tons of great memories on your trip! :)
 
it's adorable. i usually don't even get the trips scrapped after they are over, so this is just amazing to me. such a great idea!
