Mind Magic (or timewasters) | Pad Patter 10.26.17

Happy Thursday! Are you a talented magician or into riddles??
My kids are very into magic and puzzles so tonight/ today I bring you some mind-blowing number stuff!

(Ooooh I hear you think - I'm not great at pulling rabbits out of headwear, but I'm great at telling people what to think hearing what other people's thoughts (and humble!))
Today's Pad Patter is brought to you from random pins that I followed down a virtual rabbit hole.

First, a quick game, so grab a pen and paper (if you're old school like me or y'know, open 'notepad' or something digital) and start by picking a number between 1 and 30 and follow what it says! (Did I mention I'm great at telling people what to do? And sooo humble)

Did it work?! Mind blown!? Tell me if it didn't - I was pretty impressed (and didn't think about it too much) Now don't tell me what number you picked yet but check this out...

So are you unique?! I chose 7 both times....
at least I'm humble.

Yep u think about some of these and the mind magic definitely loses some of its sparkle! DD picked 4, trust! The rest of us are not so unique here

Oh, not me. But my DH definitely is! He loves anything related to strategy, gaming and all that. He's very good at it. But me, I'm always like, "huh? I don't get it."

Also, it didn't;t work in the first, I picked 24 first, which was in the blue & purple boards.
so 24 + 08 + 16 = 48..... how would 48 be "my number" ?
I'm puzzled...and my head hurts, I detest maths LOL

I am glad to be unique also - I picked two for some reason!
I think you add the numbers under your colors together (just 08 and 16) -- instead of adding those numbers to your original number, if that makes sense! If not, I will just echo your sentiment that I detest maths too!!

I picked 5 both times.. re the first one, I had to read the instructions 4 times before I understood what you needed to do.. 8 + 16 = 24 you are correect
