Meal Kits -- anybody subscribe?

I won a sub to Plated a few years ago and liked it ok. And we've subbed Hello Fresh a few different times but I find that the meals don't rotate enough for hubby and I.
I should check out some of the newer ones and see if there's one we'd like to try again.

Plus, the idea of perishable food sitting, waiting, in a box on my west-facing porch bothers me.

We live in AZ where it's HOT and at least for the two companies I've tried, we haven't had a problem. The really package them well -- now, the environmental aspects of all that packaging are another issue . . .

That said, I think meal kits are a great option for those who don't have the time to plan, shop, prep, cook...or who just need a break from cooking! As @LynnG puts it, it's relentless (turns out people expect to be fed every single day! and honestly, I don't know how my mother did it...).

Yes, relentless is the perfect description!
