Happy May Ray Day!!

I didn't know it was a thing, but I have celebrated a lot today! It's a day that encourages people to get outside and enjoy some time in the sun. We had rain like every day last week and finally it was sunny and beautiful today! I mowed the lawn, potted some flowers and veggies on my porch, pulled weeds and just enjoyed being outside!!

Is it nice where you are? Did you celebrate May Ray Day?

Nice summer weather here today. Took the dog for a walk about noon and stopped to check in with my cousin since I hadn't seen her for awhile. Chatted a little over an hour. Had the doors open when I got home. Just closed them for the night. It is still 80 degrees at almost 9:00!

It was nice and sunny today which was perfect because my brother had us over for dinner in his backyard.

I hadn't heard of this before, but we did spend some time outside in the sunshine at my youngest son's graduation. It had been 85 the day before and will be 85 again today, but yesterday it was 68 degrees and perfect outside! We too have had a ton of rain this spring, so these last sunny days have been wonderful!

It's sunny here, but chilly, so I'm just enjoying the rays from an open window.
I love an open window!!

Sunny day here, but my yard/grass is still too wet to mow.
Ours was so wet in the morning, but dried up just enough. I was not looking forward to trying to do it after work this week.
