May Kindle First Selections

I got About the Night, but have not read it yet. I'm too much of a wimp for either of those selections LOL

I got about the night. Good writer and story. A little slow and not real exciting. But I'm not even
halfway through yet

I like the sound of Time heals no Wounds - that's going on my TBR list. Still investigating if the First Pick is available in Australia - so many of these sound so good but unavailable here.

I love historical fiction so I just don't know!

I almost got The Butterfly Garden, but I actually read the reviews, so I decided against it. Instead, I picked We're All Damaged. You'll have to let us know what you decide and if it was good!

Some months are tough. Luckily, my daughter also gets books, so we talk it out and decide on the top two and share them.

I nearly went with We are all Damaged but ended up with Time Heals no Wounds, will let you now how that is...

They both look interesting. Is there a reason you cannot take both? Doesn't work the same in Canada so I am not sure of the rules.

I'd say the mystery since I'm debating between it and the Enemy (fantasy), lol.

You can get both if you want to pay for one. If you buy one (or more), the book is cheaper than when it is sold to the public (I believe). But I basically don't have a book budget so I just get the one free book and read my daughter's and/or put it on my "to read" list and check for it in the future. :giggle

I've just finished reading Time Heals No Wounds - so very good. I think early on the translation made the dialogue quite clunky and stilted but either I got used to it or the translator got with the flow. After the half way point, I couldn't put it down...
