Sorry if I missed a thread already started. I didn't see one for May.

I am back to working in weeks. My brain just functions better in weeks with this project.

I so love your pages Amanda! You make me want to give hybrid a try!

I just finished up my book one for 2015 and ordered it last night. I put in so many extra pages that I didn't want to have to worry about maxing out my page counts... plus I like not having to wait so long to see my printed pages! :-)

Here are my first pages for book two...

Great pages ladies! I love seeing your monthly photos of your kids Tracie. They're always so fun! And I agree about not having to wait too long to see your pages, I have already ordered twice this year from Persnickety and my son loves flipping the pages.

Thanks Maribel! I'm a little upset with myself for already missing a month this year (April flew by), but I still love the project and will keep going. Last year the kids just let me take one pic and then they were done... this year they've enjoyed hamming it up for the camera a bit which I love! Who knows how long I've got before the next "no pictures, mom!" phase!

That's great that you've ordered twice already this year! That is the one thing I struggle with, with doing bound books... waiting to print!!

That's too bad that you missed a month but it's great that you're not quitting it. I know they will love looking back at these. It's awesome when the kids cooperate.

Thank you, Tracie!! I consider you one of the PL queens so that is a great compliment coming from you. I know you are dabbling in a little hybrid already so you should give it a try. I do love the instant gratification that comes with printing the photos at home and putting my spreads together a little at a time each day. The only thing I don't like about the hybrid thing is the temptation it has opened for all the PL kit clubs out there. I have already subscribed to 2 and have another in my view but I am thinking of it as a treat to myself each month.

Aww... thanks!:blush

I am dabbling a bit... but haven't fully gone for it yet. The main thing that is standing in my way... the pit of despair that is my "craft room". When we moved into our house about a year and a half ago, it was going to be my craft room... but it quickly became a dumping ground for random things as all of the other rooms had actual, daily uses. Every time I make progress in getting it together, some kid goes through and turns the place upside down looking for stuff for some class project or new stuff gets dumped in there when we're cleaning other rooms... sigh. I'm not letting myself take the real plunge until I have a designated working space to leave it all out. I know myself, and I too would subscribe to some kits which would just bring more stuff into the house. I've set a goal for myself to get it done... hopefully I can get there before it's time to start on my 2016 books!

My mother's day page isn't coming together very well, so I'm skipping it and moving on to the rest of last week...

Still have to post the first of last week... but here's the start of our Memorial Day weekend...
