Math app recomendations?

I'm not very techy, and I get so overwhelmed looking through the App Store. I would appreciate any recommendations. It would be for our iPad.

My son has trouble memorizing math facts, so I'm looking for an app he can use to practice memorization of addition, subtraction and multiplication at about the 2nd-3rd grade level. Basically like flashcards. I'm willing to pay some money, I just want something that is good.

Anyone have a favorite math app?

I just started using Xtramath for my boys going into 4th and 6th. It really is a little too easy for my oldest, but my youngest needs help with math facts, so I'm making them both do it. the website is free and they send you a weekly report on their progress. They start by taking a quiz to see their initial level and then it does basic flash cards for a short bit each day and then emails you their stats.

I was going to do it on the iPad for them too, but the app was $4.99 and got bad reviews. Mostly because people said it was the exact same thing you can get on the computer for free, so I'm not sure if it works well or not. I'd be interested to hear if you try out the app and like it...
