This month's kit and add-ons either contain some cool borders or have some items that with a little of manipulation can become super cool borders. As you can guess this month's Matering Challenge is all about BORDERS! We will talk on a few ways to use borders and we will also talk about how to create some borders. I will be using this months M3 kit and a few add-ons.

A little re-fresher of what our main kit looks like this month:

I ended up doing a video series for this challenge, so bear with me with all the samples and videos. You can either watch one and create something or watch them all and pick one technique to have fun.

Borders No1.
How to use already-made borders? Creating Masks and positioning your borders.
Example:

Video No.1

Borders No.2
In video No.2 of this series we talk about when you get something that is like a partial border but it doesn't cover the entire side of your page. We will show you a few different ways on how to use these elements.

Example:

Video No.2

Borders No.3
This third video is all about how to use doodles as borders and how to create a mask to go with them.

Example:

Video No.3

Border No.4
This last video is to show you that you can create a border without the look of paper.

Example:

Video No.4

The Matering challenge does not have a prize, but I hope you guys give it a go. I had fun making all 4 videos, let me know if you have any questions. Please follow the upload rules dictated in the Gallery.

@mcurtt , Thanks so much for letting me know the thread was locked! I am not even sure how that happen!!!! It is open now, please let me know if you like the videos or if you have any questions. I saw that nobody replied to it and I was feeling so down that nobody liked my videos and post.

@mcurtt love that she is sitting on the border. It makes me think of them as a rocky border at the beach.

Loved your videos and all the creative ideas as well as all the PS techniques. So wish I was artistic like you.

@Dalis Thanks for making the videos. It was fun to see your mind at work. I really like what you did with the scribbles & then selecting them roughly and filling them with white for a cut out border look in video #3. Much appreciated. :-)
