Happy Holidays!! Yes, it’s only November, but since I’m gearing up for the Christmas season, I have to start now

I’m so excited it’s DYD time as I love seeing how our amazing designers come up with ways to help us quickly document our December traditions. They know time is precious and I appreciate them taking time from their schedules to bring us these products! I also love that designs from each year can be mixed and matched with each other so I can stretch my stash just a bit further. This challenge will help you realize what I mean.

I’m challenging you to create a layout or hybrid project that uses products from three different YEARS of DYD. Go through your stash and see what you have. If you need something new, you can find them all HERE:

I’ll show you what I came up with using:

DYD 2017: Farmhouse Christmas by Mommyish
DYD 2019: Holly Days by Sahlin Studio
DYD 2020: Templates from Pocket Art: Mixed Media Album 6x8 by Rachel Jefferies



Now that you understand the challenge, let’s see what you come up with. Let’s do one last review of the rules:

1. Create a layout using three different YEARS of DYD products.
2. Layouts must contain a minimum of 50% TLP products to comply with our gallery standards. Any templates used count for a total of 15%.
3. You must post your layout in the TLP gallery and then post in this thread with a link to the gallery image of your page. PLEASE let me know which three years you used
4. This challenge closes on Monday, November 13 at 11:59pm EST. A random entry will win a $3 coupon to The Lilypad store.
5. Most importantly... HAVE FUN!
 
I really loved this challenge, here's my take on the challenge, I used a lot stuff from past years, and from this year too, full credits in gallery, here's my take.
 
I made it as a foundation page because I don't have any photos for it yet. Let me know if that's not allowed!


I used DYD products from 2016, 2017, 2019, and 2021. Full credits in the gallery.
 
Ok, I guess it's idea to read the instructions properly. LOL For some reason I thought it was to use stuff from AT LEAST three DYD years. I sorta went crazy. I've used stuff from 5 years.

Y'all I'm so happy you are playing along!! I love these and am amazed that y'all are so talented. I swear this took me a very long time to create my page as mixing kits is super hard for me and y'all make it look effortless!! And Eva, that's beyond my wildest dreams to be able to scrap 5 different kits!
 


I used Jul Collection (Oh What Fun - '20) and Joulukuu Kit (Tis the Season - '18) by Lynn Grieveson, and Holiday Shaker Flair (Happy Holidays - '14) by Kim Jensen.
