This will stay up through the first couple weeks in February for your chance to nominate a book for us to read in March! Feel free to nominate anything, even if it was part of the voting before.

I'm going to nominate Lake House and Woman with a Secret from our previous months' voting, simply because I enjoy that genre and have already started Lake House, lol.. I also recently finished Eleanor & Park and absolutely LOVED it, but there is a lot lot LOT of language, so it may not be a good fit for a large group with varied interests/standards in what they choose to read.

I should say RE the language in E&P ... while the words themselves are offensive to some, the attitude in which they were used wasn't - to me, at least.. It was more how high schoolers use it because they can and they think it's cool.. I'm sure you can read the first few pages on amazon, and those first few paragraphs are actually the worst language-wise of the book.. Or maybe I just became accustomed to it, lol..

I personally would rather foul language than other things, but everyone has their own personal sensitivities! I have heard E&P is really good. I am adding it to my own personal list even if you aren't nominating it :D

I also read E&P this month and loved it for the most parts. The language didn't bother me at all. I'm not justifying it but I just feel like it's so common nowadays that it can hardly upset anyone.

I'd like to nominate Sister by Rosamund Lupton

I read her Afterwards a few years back and was totally mesmerized with her writing style so this has been on my to read list for some time.

I loved Eleanor and Park and I don't even remember the language so it must not have bothered me terribly.

I am nearly finished The Lake house (The Kate Morton Book), I have it on Audio so I am considering going for a long walk to finish it off - Love all her books(such a long book may not be suitable for Book Club though).

i have just finished a couple of Liane Moriarty books, she's an Australian author but sells well overseas as well. Big Little Lies I couldn't put down.(I think they are making it into a movie)

Fates and Furies is next on my to be read list

Can't wait to see what everyone nominates, always good to add to my ever increasing list...

@crystalbella77 ,perhaps you should make the official post for voting ? or is it still to early ?
I re nominate Woman with a Secret by Sophie Hannah again , or failing that The girl on the train by Paula Hawkins .

I will let people vote for March soon! I want to make sure people have enough time for nominations! :D

I think the Silent Sister was in the nominations previously -- I had put it on my library list -- I started it yesterday and could hardly put it down. Finished it up this morning. Now to start on the Feb book.

I looked because I thought I had Sister (the one Jeanet proposed)_ but cant find it.... I'm intrigued by the Like House now
