Besides the standard gallery requirements, there aren't any crazy rules to follow beyond simply scrapping with our featured designer for the day!!

Today we are scrapping with the inspirational & thoughtful designs of Jen's Grace In Color! Jen is also one of our talented Pollys! She's so friendly and supportive and her work is great for introspection. Jen also has so many things to go with Traveler's Notebooks to include Tip-Ins and extra bits of info in those, and one day I'm hoping to start a Traveler's Notebook and I know that she has lots of tutorials to help there!! But for now I'm using some of her colorful cards and graphic elements to just play! So if you want to scrap along with me, feel free to post your pages in the gallery and then come show them off here! And who knows, the designer(s) may pop in here and there with special surprises and interactions!!!

When I went to the Gallery to upload there was not a section for Grace in Color. So I just put it in the Lilypad Designers Gallery. I enjoyed getting creative with the freebies!

That's perfectly fine!! Lots of time her designs go in the Hybrid gallery too :) So you're fine!
 
Can someone tell me how Cinderella was able to convert the PDF file to something she could use on her page... The sunburst one... I cannot see any way to do this... know very little about PDF files! Also everytime I tried to get the doodled frames, I got a prayer list for men... it even shows that is what I am getting... Tried taking it, and yeah.. it is the prayer list for men.. thought they might be mixed... OK... I am beyond frustrated... tried a different browner and all it will download is the men's thing, no t the cute little frames.... If I get a newsletter everyplace I have signed up for one here, my mailbox is going to be overflowing... NOT happy

download the pdf file.. then bring it into your work space and use blend modes of multiply, darken, linear burn , color burn or darker color and that will blend the white into the background.. those blend modes get rid of white.. that will allow you to use the sunburst... I had no issues when I downloaded the circle frames either. Sorry you are frustrated Liz.

I did excactly what Christa wrote. PS can open .pdf files.
I also applied a style by Just Jaimee to make it look grungy (link in gallery).

What I did was opened it in Photoshop. For the sunburst one, it opened in layers with transparent backgrounds. So it was quite easy to just pull over a layer onto my page. Many of her freebies on the Grace in Color site opened as layers when I opened the pdf in Photoshop, not all, but a good percentage of them. The doodled frames were another cute product that came over in layers.

I had the same issue with the doodled frames directed to the prayer over men list, but I found the correct link on Jen's Grace in Color Facebook page. :-)

I had the same problems. Had to admit defeat in the end.
