    How is your daughter Megan?

@gonewiththewind How is Piper? Pancreatitis is rough, but she'll be good in no time. I wonder what she ate.

I'm sorry about Piper. I hope she gets better soon!

I'm a slow scrapper and I haven't scrapped this much in ages. So I am happy to have completed all challenges but, it also helped me remember how happy scrapping makes me. I am hoping to continue to scrap more often. I will definitely be doing the February challenges!

    Thanks for the template!!

hugs and prayers for sweet Piper, and that she will be ok asap. I know it is so hard with a pet as they cannot tell you themselves. I know you don't like her staying overnight but so glad the Vet is giving her the help she needs. Hugs and prayers your way Cheryl. @gonewiththewind

    I got it done and I honestly couldn't have without your chats. I know it is hard to get close but focusing on what's happening with piper is the right thing. I sure hope she's doing better today! {hugs}

Piper's labs were normal from the Vet ER! But as soon as her regular vet saw the xray and then palpated, he knew exactly what to test for. I hope your sweet Corgi is doing well now. What's her name?

I think Megan said they are getting an MRI for her, but she didn't say when it was scheduled.

I have NO idea what she ate. She's been with us a year and four months and she's been on the same food and treats. She did have to be on a medication for contact dermatitis, and I have a feeling it might have caused all this.

Thank you! I'm so glad that you were able to complete MOC10 and that you found happiness again in scrapping. I have had that "first love" feeling coming back and it feels so good to be excited about scrapping.

Karen, Jen, Christa, Susan - I got a call this morning. She tolerated IV overnight well. She was taken for a walk. They were going to try water first, and then try to introduce food. I haven't gotten a call this afternoon yet.

I am SO glad that I was able to help you get it done! That makes me feel so good! Yay for you! See above re: Piper.

I'm so sorry to hear about your little girl, but you accomplished a lot considering all you do. Congratulations and praying for Piper.

Poor wee doggy, I hope Piper will be okay and makes a full recovery.
You did amazingly well Cheryl!! I played along on a very casual basis as Jan was so busy for me, I was just happy to take part and created six pages and had so much fun commenting in the gallery and watching all the buzz :)

I saw a couple of your layouts. I need to find time to really take a look at them.

Piper will more than likely stay overnight tonight again and possibly over the weekend. I just don't know. I wish she was interested in food and water, but she's still refusing it.

@gonewiththewind I hope Piper is doing better, it can be scary. Considering that Harlow feels the world is her buffet I am incredibly lucky that Labs have iron stomachs.

I was behind by 7 or 8 at one point but managed to get caught up, stay caught up, and finish.

Praying for Piper. You sure helped us all with MOC and by not keeping up yourself, such comfort to others that didn't for real life or whatever.
    Thank you

Thanks for asking! Sadly, she's the same. She can't bend her knee at all and there is still swelling.

:( I was coming back to check on an update. I was hoping to hear that she was back home with you. Hopefully another day or so will have her feeling better...continued prayers!

@meganmecrazy Praying for your sweet girl. I know she's got to be miserable (and in turn, I'm sure you are stressing out - I would be!).

Piper is not home tonight, but the vet is supposed to call us early AM to let us know if she eats/drinks. If she has done so overnight, then we may be able to bring her home tomorrow.

I hope you already got the appointment for the xrays or MRI. Ok, I am throwing this out there, I know it sounds ridiculous. On one of our hockey tournaments, I twisted my ankle badly and one of the parents that is a ortho doctor told me to send someone to get YELLOW ONIONS. Cut them in half and put them as close to the skin but without touching for 3-5 mins. It has to be immediately you cut them. My swelling went down like magic! Maybe you have some yellow onions at home to try it.

Oh! Thanks!! I will have to tell her to try that! And she had an xray done the morning after it happened and then I got her to a specialist. He was having a hard time being able to determine if she has a fracture to her patella. Plus he mentioned she may have pushed stuff under the knee cap that shouldn't be there so he said she needs to get an MRI. Well, trying to schedule an MRI is insane!!! They originally had her scheduled for the 21st of this month and I was like NO WAY so they gave me a number to call and I got her in for the 9th but it's pretty far away and at 6:30 am! I took it though. I can't believe it's even taking this long to get one.

Thank you so much! Yes, I'm super stressed and worried. She is miserable and VERY sad considering she has a dance competition coming up real soon and we have no clue what the exact diagnosis is yet to even tell her dance teacher what to expect :(
