Happy Birthday - this took way longer than I anticipated, but it was fun an worth finishing. BTW did all 6, was so busy trying to get the right colors and getting the details right that I forgot to read the part that said you only had to do 5. Oh well!

I did complete the right challenge, and it's a companion page to the one above. Here it is:


My choices:
  1. Favorite Colors: Raspberry, Indigo, Charcoal, Evergreen.
    Use one or more of these colors as a main color(s) to your layout; use in elements and papers. (Looking for vibrant pinks, blues, greens, and grays - no pastels.) Yes, you can use other colors.
  2. Favorite Numbers: 3, 6, and 28.
    Have a 3 or 6 word title and journal an additional 28 or more words excluding the title and date.
  3. Favorite Animals: song birds, puppies, horses, bunnies, butterflies, black panthers, and elephants.
    Have one or more elements of of the above animals.
  4. Favorite Electronics: Laptop, Camera, and Kindle (e-reader).
    Mention/picture one or more of the above in your layout.
  5. Favorite Weather: Wet (mist, rain, snow).
    Mention/picture one or more of the above in your layout.
  6. Favorite Starting Word Letter: D (delectable, decadent, delicious, deviant, dangerous, deluxe,daredevil, delinquent, darling, daring, delightful, delighted)
    Use one of the above D words in your Title.
The Twist
For those that commented in the challenge thread before the start of the challenge, you only have to do 4 (did the first 4) of 6.

Thanks to the twist, I left out #3 and #4.

1) Charcoal background paper (and maybe raspberry, if you consider the red).
2) 6-word title and 28+ words of journaling.
5) The word "rain" is near the beginning of my journaling.
6) The word "delicious" is in my title.

I used a charcoal background, skipped step 2 (kind of) my title is 3 words =), included a butterfly, mentioned camera in journaling, mentioned raining in journaling, I used delighted in my title.

I used Monthly Blog Challenge September 2018 by Scrapping with Liz and After Midnight by Sweet Pea Designs. Since it does not meet the Lilypad guidelines it is posted in SWL Facebook Group

Here's my layout. I used Liz's Graceful Templates (3), lots of bright colors, a dog, which I recolored grey, a picture of a laptop and a dog, grey buttons, and the word Delightful. I also recolored the border into grey. Hope you had a wonderful birthday!

(I didn't do #2 and #5 for my twist)

Happy birthday to you! I qualified for the twist so I did steps 1, 3, 5 and 6. Thanks for the challenge. It was very challenging:)

I had unexpected out-of-town visitors today ... my new baby great-nephew & his mom came down to visit... so this is a bit late. Decided to post anyway ... this one was a bit difficult. I used the twist:
1. Blues, pinks & charcoals
3. Butterfly
4. Camera
5. Title "D" word: Darling (I had used a different "d" word in my title, so I had to re-do it ...)
