Make It Snappy (MIS) | July 2nd @ 7 pm ET | Scrapping with Liz

Well as usual, life has conspired to keep me from working on a layout : ) Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a lot of things that are going on. I have plans for tomorrow too, so I won't be able to work on any scrapping tomorrow.
Thanks for hosting though. One of these days I will get back into the swing of things!

Here's my page. I did the twist so I used 1, 3, 5 and 6. The sketch I used has been rotated. Used Kristin Aagard's Toothy Grin kit.

1. 4 photos
2. 1 bow and no stitches
3. 5 lines of journaling
4. 2 flowers and no staples
5. 2 word title with 1 adjective and 1 noun
6. no buttons (the clothing kind)
7. cardboard background paper
8. multi-color paint splatter and 1 flair (in the sample layout "create" in upper right corner is a flair)

Great job Diane! And thanks tpbuffy, you slayed this challenge. I love how specific all the directions were. Often I'm not quite sure if I really followed the rules or not, but you were super clear!

Thanks! I was so frustrated because Photoshop quit without warning and I lost all my work and had to start over. I was afraid I was going to miss making the time!

Here is my layout! I didn't make it in time to qualify for the twist but I followed rules 1,2,4,5,6,7 and 8, skipping #3.

CREDITS: I used SwL TemplateRevisted #46 and pieces from multiple kits: Beautiful Days Collab by the ladies on the Publiscrap blog- Freebie; All In the Details from Phlox Dragon Designs - Freebie; In the Know from Sunshine Inspired Designs-Freebie; Hug Them Tight from Trixie Scraps- Freebie; HNDD from Jumpstart Designs-Freebie; Winter Arabesque from Marisa Lerin on pixelscrapper-Freebie; and cardboard paper was by Janet Scott on pixelscrapper.
 
Used Steps 2, 4, 6, 7 & 8 - my flair is hiding a bit under the tan flower because it didn't match the kit LOL

5. 2 word title with 1 adjective and 1 noun (hopefully jungle used here is an adjective)
