Made it to Arkansas

I shared this on Facebook but thought I'd share here as well.

After a crazy weekend (thank goodness our landlady gave us an extra day to get the last few things moved out and the house cleaned) we made it to my sister's late Monday afternoon. Still no word on when our new place will be ready for us but I do know that progress is being made. Super glad for my amazing family and all the help they gave us with the move to the storage unit. We would still be trying to figure out how to pack everything in the moving truck without them... lol.

Phew! Step one cleared. Hopefully the new place will be ready soon and you can get settled.

They started on the pad yesterday (they were going to start on Wed. but it rained). Makes me feel better knowing that things are happening to move things forward. I keep telling myself this is just a few weeks out of my life and honestly it could be worse. Luckily my sister has a large house with lots of space for us, it's only an hour commute for DH, and Lizzy is getting good cousin time which is awesome.

Don't forget to change your location. Yes, enjoy the family time and this period of your life will fly by.

Lol, Sandy. We're staying in Arkansas for just a few weeks. We'll be back in Missouri in no time. It did take me a while to switch from Chicago to Missouri the last move though.
