So this weekend when I was at my retreat, my friend Heather spent hours on Sunday assigning kit previews to each folder so that when she opens her scrap folder she can see all previews instead of blank folders. Then she got home and I think tried to open the start on her desktop and the previews weren't showing up anymore. I think her supplies where on her external hard drive, not on the actual laptop hard drive but the previews disappeared and she's worried she wasted all that time. Keep in mind I am NOT a mac person, so speak slowly so I can understand! LOL! Any suggestions on how to get those previews to show up no matter which computer she uses? I am going to have her sign up for the forum here too so she can see replies too. I think I've finally converted her to the dark side of digi. Bwahahaha!

Okay. I actually just ran into my friend. She said she has all of her supplies on Dropbox and that's where she added the previews to the folders. And yes, she's an all Mac girl.

Hmm. I have no idea then! Might be an issue with Dropbox? You should PM Heather Joyce in case she doesn't see this. She works for Apple so if she doesn't 't know she could probably find out!

I found that too! I downloaded and thanked kits on one Mac and thought oh I'll put them in Dropbox so I don't have to disconnect my external hard drive connected to another. Everything but the preview came trough.

I think it's a Dropbox thing because I've never had the issue before. :(

Thanks for the feedback girls! So, should she just keep her supplies on her external hard drive and do the previews on there? That will stick no matter where she views it then, right?

I just wanna throw this out there for Mac users. I use a program called img2icns to drop and drag my previews into the folders, and if you have a lot of previews to do, it's so much faster than the other method.
