I have been absent from the scrapping world for a LONG time . Since we have gotten a Mac. I need a new photoshop program that is compatible with our Mac. Oh our Mac is an iOS. Any suggestions? Staples suggested PSE 12 though it said it was compatible with os.

TIA

I use Photoshop CC on a Mac Book Pro - it's a monthly subscription for around $10 which means you always have the latest version of Photoshop :)

I use photoshop cc on my Mac - $10/month and includes Lightroom. Before cc I was a die hard PSE fan! And you can try either of those for 30 days from the adobe site to be sure it is a good fit - lots of great tutorials here for either.

Can someone link me to the photoshop cc? I have looked before and couldn't find the $10 per month one. Thanks so much.

I use PSE10 (I think that is what I have, anyway!) on my MacBook Pro.

FYI: iOS is what is on mobile devices made by Apple and MacOS is what is on desktop and laptop computers made by Apple. All Macs run MacOS, not iOS.

All versions of PS and PSE are available for the Mac. If you buy online, you just make sure you click where it says Mac (if it even asks; most stuff online these days just detects that you're on a Mac and takes you to the right place) and if you buy a box in a store, you check the box. A particular box you pick up might only have the PC program inside, but PSE 12 is still available for the Mac in another box (or online).

Thank you for the info!!

New question. I am not a fast learner when it comes to computer stuff. Is it hard to learn all of the different programs on the PS CC? Or would it be easier to learn one program and go with that?

The photography bundle is just the two programs - Photoshop and Lightroom - Lightroom is amazing for importing and sorting your photos (you can tag them and do all kinds of cool stuff - Jenevang wrote a great tutorial about it here), then Photoshop will let you make pages and projects. The other programs available in the cloud are neat for their purposes, (I have/use many of them for work) but I would start with those two.

And skill tutorials are a great way to learn your way around Photoshop - visit the tutorial board here and ask questions where you have them! :)

I also use Lightoom to organise my whole digital scrapbooking stash. Every element, paper, ribbon and button etc I have is in Lightroom so I can search and view things easily to bring into a Layout :)

I have used FotoFusion Enhanced by Lumapix for years and I LOVE the program! They have a MAC program and their customer support is toll free LIVE people IF you should have any problems. Here is the link and best of all, you can have a FREE 30 day trial to see if you like it!
