Hello!

My challenge to you this month is to use pocket cards aka journal cards on a non-pocket card page.

Lots of my collections - including all the 'Hear My Voice' collaborative collections - include packs of pocket cards, which are great for making pocket-style multiphoto pages.

But you can also use these mini artworks on other pages.

Here's a page where I used them to surround my photo:

And here I clipped them to the blending spots in a template:

I am sure you can think of other creative pages to use cards. Stuck for ideas? There's lots in this thread

Challenge Requirements:

• Create a new scrapbooking page that used at least one pocket or journal card, but which is not a traditional 'pocket' style page.
• Use a minimum of 75% Lynn Grieveson Products (This can include Hear My Voice Collections)
• Post your page to Lynn Grieveson's Gallery, and then come back to this thread and post a link to your layout. (Please link your thread to your gallery image as it helps us leave love on your layout and validate your project).
• Please remember to follow Gallery Guidelines and list your credits in the gallery posting.
• No double-dipping…your layout must be created for this challenge only, no others.
• This challenge will remain open until midnight (EST) November 30, 2024.

The Prize:

• I will be giving everyone who participates a discount coupon for my store that will give you 15% off when you spend over $8.99.
• One random winner will get a $8 coupon for my Store

Thanks for the challenge. I love the versatility of journalcards. For this challenge I created a collage style background with a paper and 8 journalcards.

Hi Everyone...
Another great! Lynn Grieveson Challenge...My month hasn't gone so well...I am now sick with yet another condition...I have barely made it through all the trauma from the month in the hospital & the extra 5 visits to the ER...after the fact because of complications...A bit ago,I started to feel extreme overt fatigue...Couldn't get enough sleep...Had yet more blood tests...& now I have low hemoglobin...Even after all the blood I received in the hospital...And now my hair is falling out...badly...Not just a little bit...I have already cut 2 inches off the length...It is so thin & I have some areas where my scalp shows through on the top of my head...It looks so bad!!!...I cried over this!...I am gonna have some in home care starting soon...I am not gonna look like this...I know that the next time I wash my hair...I will have bald spots I can't cover-up...This makes me so sad!...I am gonna look into buying a wig & some hats...just incase the wig thing doesn't work out...After everything I have endured,now my hair is falling out!...All I wanna do is cry!!...but I digress...Hence the reason why I haven't been around much & haven't done too many challenges this month...I will try to get a few done...but I don't know if that will happen...

But,I have found some time to get this challenge completed...I have always tried each day,to look for something positive despite my situation...Some of you may know,I have a cell phone now...& I have been playing with the camera...So the other day,I looked outside my crafting space window...There were so many fluffy clouds there & a bright blue sky!...It was such a lovely sight to see!...So,my layout is about this picture...It's also about trying to remain positive & hope things will be o.k...Dare I try to dream of better days ahead...The Journal Cards are flanked around my photo...4 of them...I perforated some of them too...to emphasize the circle imagery...
