Hello, how are you? Welcome to Lynn Grieveson's April challenge. Spring is knocking on our door (in the Northern hemisphere that is) and it's so beautiful here that I find it hard to sit at home. I need to take a million photos, and put them into thousands of pages, and for once I don't need to tell stories, just to show the beauty. This is when my hand is reaching for the word art. Sometimes I feel slightly restricted by the available word art, and I would love to stretch my stash whenever I can, so I play a little game that I call Word Art Scrabble. Will you play with me?
So what do you need to create in order to qualify for Lynn's prizes? I would like you to use Lynn's kit/s to create a page, any theme, any style, any colour scheme, photos or photoless... you decide. It has to include Word art, title if you like or part of your title or journalling using bits of snippets, word arts, titles, words or phrases but tailor made to suit your message, I would love to be able to see what you have changed (be it cut up words to create a ransom style word art) or rearranged letters in the snippets to make your own word, not just slapping together the already available word arts to create a new one. If you have any questions or if I didn't make something clear please ask away, I will be checking in regularly to see if my help is needed or to leave comments and my love on the added pages.
Here is an example of how I change the word art from Lynn's Explorer to suit my purposes, cut, move, rearrange (like the letter "L" in ELSE is made by putting capital "I" from DISCOVER and bottom part of "E" on top of it. And hey presto I have new Word art.
Here is the new word art in my new page for the March Journalling challenge.
Here is a page that shows the easiest way to rearrange the order of the letters in the title to get a new title:
My Title was made with two word arts from Lynn's From Up Here Extras: good friends, and a flipped W from All clear now
This one I have changed the word art "happening" to "happiness"
Easy peasy, right? Now off you go and show me some reworked word art that uses some of Lynn's plus a dash of your imagination. Can't wait to see it, and to see you! Have fun and stretch your stash. I hope you love doing it as much as I do.
Challenge Requirements:
· Create a new scrapbooking page with the above rule.
· Use a minimum of 75% Lynn Grieveson Products.
