Back when I was teaching, my husband and I were able to take a few wonderful spring break trips. We were able to explore new parts of the United States, and in the case of Seattle, even find our future home. As we were driving north from the airport, the breathtaking beauty of Seattle struck me repeatedly. Even though I come from the heartland, I had never seen so many shades of GREEN! Between the gorgeous trees, beautiful plants and shrubbery everywhere, all shades of GREEN was growing before me. This memory of what would be my future home makes me smile every time I consider it. What does GREEN make you think of? A song? A poem? A certain monster? Bring it to life with this month’s challenge.

I made this GREEN INSPIRED layout for inspiration using Lynn’s Vera kit and her Just So Special template pack.

Challenge Requirements:

  • Post your page to Lynn Grieveson's Designer Gallery, and then come back to this thread and post a link to your layout. (Please link your thread to your gallery image as it helps us leave love on your layout and validate your project).
  • Please remember to follow Gallery Guidelines and list your credits in the gallery posting.
  • No double-dipping…your layout must be created for this challenge only, no others.
  • This challenge will remain open until March 31, 2024.
The Prize:

Green is one of my favorite colors so I had to do this Challenge.
Green means Spring is Coming. I love looking for little signs like these snowdrops coming up in the graveyard we were visiting. A small sign of hope and the circle of life.

First time I read this challenge, I exclaimed "GRÖNT?!!???!" [Swedish for green]. I honestly thought Lynn's never used green in her life. LOL But - I managed to scramble up some green stuff in my stash (I do hope I got the credits right) & made a layout about The Forest. Forest is like the national religion of Sweden.

Ooh, what a challenge! This page was my third attempt, collecting elements from lots of different kits. I'm happy with how it turned out.
