Lulu's story <= Yep my doggie.

awww, I hate that you guys are going through this! I don't think you're crazy at all for trying to save her and extend the time you have with her. Love you, girlie.

oh, this stinks big time. i used to not understand why people would put so much $ into a dog, but now that we have a puppy of our own, i TOTALLY get it... and i get how hard it must be to even consider the thought of losing her. big hugs to you. i'll be keeping you in my prayers dalis.

I'm so sorry Dalis. I don't think you are crazy one bit.

We adopted our Boxer, Gus, from a Boxer rescue, and his mama was from a puppy mill (they pulled her out when she was pregnant) in North Dakota. Gus has some medical issues as well, we just found out he has hypothyroid and will be on meds forever. Cancer scares me to bits with him, Boxers are super prone to it and knowing his mama's medical care was nada it scares me even more. I would spend every penny I had to make sure Gus was healthy. Although we have 3 human kids, Gus is definitely one of them now.

I hope you get more time with your sweet Lulu.

sending you massive hugs Dalis! Our fur-babies are our babies too xox

Thank you ladies, she is being ONE BOSSY GIRL RIGHT NOW!

Tali, Every puppy mill story brakes my heart. So glad Gus found you guys!

Aw, well I hope she's doing well in spite of her bossiness. (((hugs)))

Dalis, my heart is SO breaking for you. My sweet baby girl, Abby, was my girl. I have a houseful of boys. Abby was a miniature black & silver dapple dachshund. She injured her back & we just put her to sleep on Friday, 3/1. If there was anything possible we could have done to help her, I'd have done it. She was only 6 years old. Big, huge, woofy hugs to you & to Lulu. Sending prayers your way that she comes thru this.
