So, my SO got a little more tax refund than we thought he was going to get, and at the weekend he suprised me with a new toy:

Isn't it pretty? It's enormous though, the screen is 27 inches - quite a step up from my 15 inch (non-mac) laptop! And he got me CS5 from work to put on it!

And I don't even scrap anymore! I'm going to have to now though:)

It's my mum's 60th birthday in a couple of weeks, so I have ordered a thing that lets us put all our old home videos from when we were kids onto the mac, so when I finish that, and make DVDs of it, then I will definately be back to scrapping!

Congratulations!! I LOVE mine!! The smaller keyboard took a little getting used to, now I just LOVE it.
 
Thanks guys! I'm so excited!

I want to scrap, but I haven't had time. And the fact that I lost my EHD with all my photos and scrapping supplies on doesn't really help.. I bought some goodies in the sale here a few weeks ago though, and I have the photos from this summer, so I will start scrapping again when I finish the home-video project. I'm not too worried about the EHD, it has to be somewhere in the house, so I'm sure it will turn up! I lost it while putting things away to decorate the living room in the summer, so I'm sure it will turn up eventually:)
 
Lucky you!!! Congrats, you'll love it!! I love mine, wish I could take it home with me (it's my work computer, haha).
