First of all, thank you SO MUCH for the awesome work on the BYOC prototype. I am going through all the files today and seeing what I need to wrap up to make it high-res. I've also been working with the designers about our BYOC deadline. Once I see that we are consistently hitting those early deadlines, we will get the BYOC Look Books back in gear. In the meantime, I would like to shift over to some of the evergreen content we talked about. So, who's still up for it?

1. Pocket Scrapping
2. Mixed Media
3. What else what you like to see? Brainstorm with me! :)

oh gosh, I thought you put all this on hold as I checked a few times and nothing seen, I think I still didn't do the writing for the BYOC?
If we are go with this, I can finish it up tonight or tomorrow, and finish the pocket scrapping picks and whatever is needed for help.

Yay! I'm happy to help with a little too...
Planners are pretty big - maybe not as much here at TLP (not sure where those products stand as far as sales), but I know there are crazy planner communities. That could be a draw to those people to have the evergreen info on our stuff, or it could convert a few TLP community members to become planners.

what do you mean by evergreen? I've never heard that term in the context before.

I don't know if you just want types of scrapbooking, or you want to focus on different subjects as well.

Ideas:
Quick and Easy Album - tips, ideas, one in action.
Template Scrapping - As is, Modified, Combined.
Patterns Vs. Solids
Titled Pages
Clustered Vs. White Space
Design Essentials - Design Triangle, Alignment, Contrast, Color, Balance, etc.
Learning Books - a bunch of techniques, maybe Beginner, Medium, Advanced Books.
All About Me scrapping. We always scrap others, but can focus on ourselves.
Scrapping digitally... though I know nothing about this. (after reading this, I giggled... I meant on a phone, not a computer).
Seasonal Scrapping
Trends for 2018
Singles Vs. Double Pages

I don't know what evergreen content is, but in the traditional/paper scrapbooking world, or at least in my IG feed!, traveler's notebooks are a big trend right now. I still enjoy hybrid pages.

Woot! woot! Can't wait.

Plus, would it be possible to move on the BYOC lookbooks if a good number of designers are getting product up early? It would be a good incentive and would help mitigate the drawback of being the last listings if you upload early (Says the woman who is running late again this month on the rest of her BYOC despite best intentions :circles)

@jk703 @lcpereyra
I believe: Evergreen in this context means that it's always relevant; It doesn't have a hard/fast expiration date.

Like, BYOC has a more relevant date to when it was released. Trends 2018 would have a longer relevant date, but would still "expire". Pocket Pages, All About Me, or Seasonal Scrapping would be more evergreen type content. The seasonal would be relevant to a time period, but winter comes every year.

Does that make sense?

@bestcee Yes that does make sense Courtney, thank you!! :)

Glad to hear we are still moving forward with the BYOC Look Books and would also suggest Mixed Media as I think there are a lot of people that are interested, or would be interested, in something like this.

Also I would be able to give a hand where needed as well. :)

I came back from vacation a day early. Went to start up my iMac and nothing ... it gets to half of the boot progress bar and dies. I was on phone with apple support and they were not able to help - my HD may be shot. I have an appointment with Apple Genius Bar tomorrow. I just have my iPad right now. :(

I'm trying to figure out how to phrase it, but maybe a beginners Scrap Hacks book?

Every MOC for sure (and other times during the year) we have scrappers who say they are intimidated by the gorgeousness in the gallery. Some days, I'm still one of them! So, maybe a book highlighting less technique heavy layouts? Or with tips on how to get a technique-look easily? Like Scrap Hacks.
Instead of blending and playing with adjustments - use a premade mask.
To create more texture, combine brushes and then clip a textured paper. Or using the blended papers.
Instead of the work for making fonts not float, try using a stamped style over it. Or an embossed style to make it look typewritten.

I'm not sure if that makes sense. If not, ignore it. :backing
And I'm laughing by the way. One of my school classes this fall? In-Design....

Fantastic idea!
Great way to show you don't have to be an artist to create a page: just play with what you have (in stash)
