Welcome to the 2022 edition of Love Our Designers. This event isn't a traditional challenge in that there aren't any real rules. It’s a fun event to scrap with products from a fave designer or try a new (to you) designer. It’s all about having fun and celebrating the uniqueness of all of our Lilypad Designers!

A bit about Sabrina Dupre (from the designer herself!):
1. Tell us a little about yourself.
I was born in Cali, Colombia to an artist mother and photographer father but moved to the US when I was a little girl. I’ve lived several place in Louisiana (my mom is from here) and now live in Baton Rouge with my two daughters, Isabella and Sofia. Three years ago we lost my husband to ALS.

2. What inspires your designs?
I get inspiration from everything. Nature, songs, movies, etc.

3. Do you have a signature style?
I love to mix hand drawn elements with vintage elements and I love color.

4. What is your favorite kit you have designed?
Probably one of my Halloween ones like 31 Halloween Street or Fright Night.

5. Do you have any other hobbies?
I make jewelry, photography, painting, DIY house stuff.

6. How would you describe yourself?
A dreamer and peacemaker. And, loyal to a fault.

7. Tell us one thing that you want us to know about you.
I am a typical Pisces in all ways!


I jumped at the chance to present Sabrina at LOD because I've loved her designs from the moment she joined The Lilypad nearly 10 years ago. Here are some of my favorites:

I wish I could use Sabrina Dupre's products more easily. I usually avoid them because I was getting so frustrated by the file names. I'm not a kit scrapper. To write credits in the gallery, I scroll through my layers palette, reading the names of the products I used. Other designers name their files designer-productname-item, instead of just designer-item, so I know which kit I got each item from.

 
I enjoy using Sabrina's journal cards from Journal Every Day #2 for card fronts when I need to create an Aged one. This one will be ready for my oldest granddaughter celebrating later in the year.

I had forgotten about that Michele. I don’t like that either. I get frustrated when files aren’t named.
