Little Update

Yes, we hope we are prepared with our parents go but even with all the signs and you know it will happen sooner than later, we still aren't prepared when they are gone. It's going on almost 4 years since my dad passed on.

As someone who deals with daily pain, I totally understand and get where you're coming from. Rest up, do what you can to alleviate it and know that here we are thinking of and utterly loving you! You have my info if you ever need/want and I'm sending prayers and positive vibes your way for you and your family!

Hope those antibiotics help and SOON. So sorry to hear about your Dad. Hope he gets better too. I know just what you mean. My parents are in their early 80s and still seem invincible to me

Little story ... I completely understand about getting stressed out when you can't get your parents on the phone. This was me, even before we had answering machines or cell phones. My mom and dad were so predictable. If they didn't answer their phone, I could call my aunt or grandma/pa and know exactly where they were. They'd even call home on pay phones to keep us posted. (And yet our teens get bent out of shape when we ask where we are going...)

I'll continue to pray for your healing and your father's. It must be all so overwhelming and scary for your mom. :love

Cynthia, know that I am thinking of you right now, and hoping for the best. But also for strength and some easing of this anxiety for you. Please take care of yourself too, because I know that when I don't take care of myself, the anxiety becomes so much worse.

Aww, Cynthia! Huge hugs! I hope the new meds work and you start to feel better. The same for your Dad. It's a fact of life, but one that you never can be prepared for. I'm glad you were able to locate them, talk to them, and send some support and love to them. May everyone get better!
