I know from previous chats here that like I live from list to list, most of you do to - my to-do lists, shopping lists, 'oh don't forget to...' lists are everywhere (old school paper), i have others on my phone but for the most part, it's paper and one of the things we needed this week was pool salt (it was super hot today and the pool needs to get summer ready!) but due to an unfortunate placement of a lower case 'i' in a word underneath it, my DS asked why i had "poo! salt" written down - it lead to an interesting (kind of funny) conversation (and no, in case you're wondering, i don't usually schedule toilet breaks on my lists).

So have you ever had a list mix-up you want to share or an interesting interpretation of an item on your list?

DH came home with a bunch of cereal a few weeks back because i wrote 'J's cereal' on a list and he bought pretty much any cereal i had ever eaten in the past that is still available, apparently because it wasn't specific enough- that's what happens here, writing 'J's current cereal' would never have occurred to me before!

I don't really have any stories about my lists OTHER THAN my hubby calls me for anything and everything on the list that he needs clarification on. Usually, though, he goes through the list with me and adds extra words so that he knows exactly what to get. Which leads me to another point . . . my perfectionist tendencies are coming out here . . . but I write the list out very neat and then it just drives me crazy when he writes on the list with his chicken scrawl, especially if it's not necessary. Like if I write bread, he has to write Bunny next to it (the brand) even though that's the only brand we buy. So as time has gone on, I become as specific as possible so that he doesn't write extra on the list. Now, I think he does it because he knows it drives me crazy when he writes on it. LOL

my list mix ups are because I left the list home and I'd call home and ask someone to tell me what was on my list. Drove my family crazy.... bwahahaha I finally started taking a photo of my lists with my phone and/or just making the list on my phone so I would always have it with me. :agree

I'm like Kayla, I take a photo of a list b/c most of the time the list gets left at home LOL. I use my note app on my phone to put in directions, addresses, etc or a shopping plan b/c if I have more than a couple of stores to go to, I'm likely to forget one of them. I can be so absent-minded sometimes LOL.
