Who is excited as I was to bring their kids to see Lion King????

Caleb (my oldest) had been wanting to watch the Lion King because we'd been reading the story book at home, but we couldn't find it anywhere and low and behold they re-release it in theatres! THEY LOVED it! They seriously don't make children's movies like that anymore. The boys loved the music! Such a great movie! :)

Oh! Ryan and I are going to see it next week and we are both so excited. I know he has seen it, but it's been years, since he was like 2. (We haven't had a working VCR since then) I am excited because I always loved the movie, it was the only one I didn't mind my little brother watching 2-3 times a day when he was little.

Probably my most favorite Disney movie ever. Also, I've seen the musical twice and it's amazing. If anyone ever has a chance to go see it, I highly recommend it!! I'd go again in a heartbeat and I know my boys would too.

One of my favorites too!!! I don't know if we'll see it in the theater, though, since we already own it. But who knows!! :D

Aww it's one of my favorites too! We have it on DVD and Bugga is scared of it (the wildebeasts and the hyenas in particular)...would love to take her to see it in theater, but not sure she'll be up for it.

I just love the music from that one! and I don't think that my boys have seen it, and I am apparently living under a rock, because I didn't know they were re-releasing it in theaters.

and Debra, I have heard that it is an awesome musical. Would love to see it sometime.

My favorite Disney movie! Ever. I was a freshman in high school when it first came out and I saw it in the theater 8 times! lol. I've watched it a few times since then and I have seen the Broadway version, twice! My boys have never seen it, but they totally need to!! I know my B would love it, but Noah's probably too little to appreciate it yet. We have the DVD though, so they'll see it plenty!

My soon to be 20 year old son just told me tonight that this is what we are doing for his birthday on Thursday. Going to see The Lion King 3D! I love that boy!!

Such a GREAT movie! We own it too, and we actually saw it when we visited Toronto years ago. Fantastic!

I remember watching that movie in a theatre with a two year old in my lap. I laughed so hard at the "hula" scene that she fell off (off course my lap was a little smaller being pregnant). I was able to take both of them to the play several years back and that is a must-see for everyone. The sets and costumes were AMAZING! I'll probably go see it by myself while it's out.

I think I might take the kids to see it this weekend for something to do. It was my fave when I was little! I remember going to watch it with my grand parents when I was young so I think it's fun that I can take my kids now!
