Now i know there are some of you that get snow all of the time and you hate it, but here in central Texas it is a rarity. However, we are expecting snow today! I'm not holding my breath that it will actually happen but it's fun to watch for it.
 
Oooo - how fun for you guys! We just got our first 4 inches, but unfortunately for us - it will now stay until March which is too long!
 
I grew up in the snow belt, but we rarely get a good snow here in KC. I miss it! There's nothing like a White Christmas!
 
Wow, really? How exciting for you guys! I lived in Oklahoma for a bit when I was a kid and I never ever saw snow there.

It snowed here in Chicago yesterday but nothing stuck. I love the snow!
 
My mom lives in Cypress and she said it was snowing there today!
 
I heard this morning the weather guys were almost positive that Houston would get snow today! That's so cool! We got less than an inch but the ground is all white and it finally feels like Christmas.
 
My husband just called - said its snowing in various areas! It's not snowing here at work yet, but I keep watching!!
 
You are all crazy! Snow sucks, you have to shovel it... it makes the roads icy.. I can't even count the number of people I know who have been in accidents because of winter conditions and the number who have not made it out of them is also very high. I hate winter with a passion and really would not miss it if I never seen snow again. LOL Gloomy will now leave the room and you can enjoy talking about snow again.

We NEVER get snow...well we got snow one day in the 70's but it didn't stick :) I'm ok that it doesn't snow here but would love to visit somewhere that does...the boys have never seen it, maybe some day :)
 
well it finally started here! yay!

and of course, i ran off and left my camera at home this morning.
 
Oh no I am sorry about your camera buy YAY for it finally snowing around ya! I am oneo f those weirdos that has it all the time here and still loves it! I can't wait for it to really start up. Its been crazy mild here for this time of year so far!

Yeah, all that! That's why I love that I came back to Brazil, LOL!
 
well it lasted for all of about 30 minutes here and then the sun came out. this has just really spoiled my mood. i so wanted to be able to head outside with my kiddos after work and play. So much for our forecast of accumulation. :(

Jenni, you're more than welcomed up here! :) There's always lots of snow here... too much sometimes...
 
I hope it snows for you. We don't get it often here either although it is in the forecast for tomorrow. But it will probably only be in the upper elevations, so we will just get cold rain. yuck!
