Last Hump Day|Pad Patter

My mundane day ended when our water heater went out last night and flooded part of my basement. We're trying to get a plumber to come out to install a new water heater, but with it being a holiday week, it's been hard getting on a plumber's schedule. We're on a waiting list for tomorrow, but who knows, they may not get here until Tuesday... UGH! I spent the evening using my carpet cleaner to suck water out of the carpet. We've pulled it back and are trying to dry it and the cabinets that were on the other side of the wall from the water heater. That's going to be a messy project, but the worst part is not having any hot water in the house. Cold showers are NO FUN!

My hump day was visiting family, doing laundry, cleaning up the kitchen and trying to get back into the normal routine. I was exhausted and fell asleep in my chair at 10 last night LOL. Hubs had to wake me up at 11:30 to tell me to go to bed.
 
My hump-day was as boring as always, sitting in a little cubicle staring at grey/beige/taupe cloth walls on the partitions, finally almost feeling human after being sick over Christmas. Oh wait, I did try to scan in some photos from a trip we took in 2004, (pre-digital camera) with the hope of using some of them in January's MOC. :-) The trip was "exotic", the scanning was not.
